Puncheon to Brook or Kante.

Thinking for - 4, Button to Boruc. Whilst I have Rondon, whom may cancel out any positive returns, having Boruc means I have two options with keepers (alongside Ryan)and when I use my BB, I will have two keepers potentially playing, as opposed to a pair of Ryan and Button whom both play for Brighton. Surely worth the hit?

Some quick price changes for popular players on the horizon here - for the transfers I've planned, Son dropping, Hazard and Fraser going up if not tonight then probably tomorrow - that's a 0.3 swing, which seems a lot to ride out over the midweek fixtures so I think I'm forced into doing my changes tonight. Hazard probably won't play in the EL game, which is something I suppose.

-4

Son, Anderson > D.Silva, Fraser for GW32 and on.

Sterling to Salah so I can captain him.

After that really not sure. Would have 8 starters. Is the conventional wisdom that -4s are ok this week? Jiminez could become Wilson as Jiminez definitely doesn’t play in gw33 and I’m free hitting in 32, WC 34. Still haven’t got my head round losing value and -4s and whether it’s worth it. I guess if Wilson scores 3 it’s worth it!

I've thought of this, but it means I'll be shoe-horning probably 6 of the players I bring in out straight after, as I don't want them for the run-in.

The only players I'd keep that I'd be bringing in would be Pedro, Mane and Van Dijk and possibly Brooks. I could obviously keep three good bench players and a good keeper (play Boruc for 31 and bench him for the rest of the season), which would mean I'd only need 7 or so other players to replace over the coming weeks.

The big downside is I wouldn't be using my Wildcard in GW32 where I'd want to load up on players with DGWs.

Is Daniels likely to keep place for Bournemouth ?

Was thinking
Alonso -> Daniels
Son -> hazard
Rashford -> vardy

Free hitting 32 . Alonso has lost his place so no point keeping

Other option is
Alonso -> Luiz/azpi
Rashford -> vardy
Play Mitrovic (who’s only ever gonna get 2 points until the end of time ...)

Aguero :arrow: Vardy
Son :arrow: Hazard

I might also do Jimenez :arrow: Wilson for a -4 to field 11 players.

2 FTs for Sterling & Kun --> Hazard & Vardy (after midweek games, price not a big issue). Leaves me with 9 players, but extremely frustrating injuries to Smith and possibly TAA on Saturday have ruined some careful planning, so that may drop to 7/8. I'll almost certainly take a hit for Success to Wilson, feel that will pay for itself over 31 and 33.

Fabianski
Robertson TAA
Smith (AWB, Doherty)
Hazard Salah Maddison Anderson (Pogba)
Vardy Wilson (Jimenez)

Not sure any hits beyond that are worth it? Keeping Doherty, Jimenez & Pog because of value and I want them for FH32 and onwards. If Palace go out of the FA Cup, then AWB will play in GW33 so won't remove him in that case. So it would basically be a hit to get the injured Smith out for a 31/33 defender, but are there any other appealing defenders worth taking hits for? I'm not so sure. Chelsea, maybe?

Did anyone actually know Wilson was fit to start let alone play 90 after being out hurt for as long as he was? I brought in King but I would have 100% brought in Wilson instead. Very frustrating.

Is it completely knee jerk to swap King for Wilson?

Yes that's knee jerk, King much better at home than away and we think he's on pens still. But yeah, I'd prefer to have Wilson. And he'll be one of mine this week, along with Fraser, who trumps Brooks imo as he just seems more likely to last whole games and has Wilson to aim at now.

May take a -4 for a defender to make xi - possibly Bednarek to make way and I can afford anyone with enough spare in gw33 for what I want to do. Azpil or Ake topping the list. Haven't yet decided which one.

If smith is out then def yes but although it’s a hamstring injury it’s not clear how bad it is yet.

Yes - the next few games king just as likely to score big. I will be getting in Wilson but king to Wilson seems a wasted transfer.

Identical to you. I've got three strikers playing with Vardy and Rondon too, but I'm still struggling to resist doing King to Wilson for a hit. More annoying than bringing in King instead of Wilson last week due to lack of knowledge, was the fact I lost 4 points doing it and lost the better points from Jimenez. Had I not done that, I could have scored more points, lost less points, and had Wilson in this week instead. What a game this is sometimes.

What makes you think Pedro is likely enough to start? I'm asking out of interest, because he is a great pick if he starts.

He didn’t start in Kiev, which makes him very likely to start against Everton. And I expect him to start at least two of their three games in DGW32 and GW33. If he starts both in their DGW, I can maybe even choose to get rid of him for a certain GW33 player. If he starts one, well, Cardiff away or Brighton at home are very decent fixtures for him.
