FH gameweek 27

Anybody contemplating using the FH chip in gameweek 27 ?

Ive got 6 players against each other in the Man Utd V Liverpool game, plus also a few players with a blank weekend and looking at the fixtures i reckon there is a decent score to be had if pick the right players.

What other peoples thoughts on this ?

Dude your team looks good for GW27. You have the best captain Aubameyang and you can field the full team with just one hit. Someone will score points in Man United vs. Liverpool match and there are not better matches available really, apart from Arsenal but you already have Aubameyang. Perhaps Spurs too, but you already have Son. Even if you wanted to make more changes, I'd recommend to just take -8 or -12 and save your FH.

I am thinking about it.

For 27 I have no keeper, no decent captain option and need a -8 just to get 11 out and that would mean playing Puncheon and hoping Kiko is fit.

Someone talk me out of it!

Oh and my current GW 26 team works ok for 28 and beyond with just single transfers allowing me to prepare well for BGW31 and BGW33, i could TCin DGW32 and WC in 34, BB in DGW35. The free hit effectively buys more time to wrk out what is required for 31 and 33.

You need just -4 to get 11 out.

True. I mis calculated and was also thinking i don’t really want to play Puncheon so he would be my only sub

If i was to use mine im thinking of Cardiff and Newcastle defenders for clean sheet potential and the the likes of Arsenal, spurs and west ham attacking players.

I think there potential for a good week there, as i can only field 9-10 players without a hit and 6 are in one game and the others against each other as well.

Cant decide what to do for the best just yet, will wait until the Fa cup games out the way i think

I’m in a bit of a pickle.

Is there gonnna be another biggermissing GW coming up? Also I have Hazard, Laporte, Stones and Pickford blanking, I can place 11 that are playing, however Ings is injured and Begovic doesn’t play.

Should I do a -4 for transfers or do a FH looking at my team?

Okay just seen there’s a BIGGER blank coming up so may just hold.

I'd probably have a wade through this to get a general feel for blanks and doubles. Basically we won't know for about a week but it appears as if GW31 will contain about 5 fixtures. Whoever marches into the QF of the FA Cup will blank and obviously their GW31 opponents will blank. I think it could contain anywhere between 4 and 9 fixtures but most likely 4-6. The only teams currently confirmed playing are Fulham, Liverpool, Burnley, Leicester, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Wes Ham, Huddersfield. So if you have any of those guys already, probably worth keeping. (or just FH in GW31 and prepare for GW32 instead if that's easier - I think it's important to prepare for something as you'll end up with inferior teams in both otherwise - the sooner you know when you are FH'ing, the better, which is why we all wait for the FA Cup stuff, to see how many of our players blank)

Thanks Sutter Kane, i think i just need to take a -4 then for this Game week 27 as i can field 11 players then if they all start of course, just a shame there all playing against each other.

I really feel it be a massive acomplishment if get more than 30 points for the next GW and ive just gone 2nd in my cadh mini league and dont want to really lose any ground

You have Aubameyang already. He could get most of that 30 on his own.

I’ve gone for it.

Had really terrible XFPL for GW27 with 4 blanks and 6 players in Liv - Manu game, can improve it by 30pts by playing my FH so seems like a good time to play the chip.

Felipe Anderson might be a sneaky capt choice too.

Also not sure why Aguero is rising in price ahead of his BGW? A few strange transfer moves seem popular at the moment.

Who to captain in 27 will be a very interesting decision.

I currently have Anderson as Captain or VC.

Having six players in one game is something that lots of us are facing. It happens and I doubt you’ll lose too much ground with that.

More generally, those who can get around 10 players out (inc LivManU), think very carefully about free hitting. It is likely that successfully navigating Gws31-33 will be much tougher and any gains you make may be lost then.
No guarantees of course, but it’s not the way I’d play it

On reflection I might just do a -4 or -8 and ride it out. Alot will depend on cup results.

This. The nature of blank GW31 (and double GW32) will be clear after the upcoming cup results. It’s likely the Free Hit will be most effective on one of these two GWs.

Ive now decided to go -4 and hooefully field the only 11 players i can get out now amd save my FH for GW31 where there looks to be quite a few blanks now
