GW13 Transfers - Deadline: 24 Nov 14:00

2 frees, £0.9m in the bank but already got a lot of the 'heavy-hitters' (Aguero, Salah, Hazard, Sterling, Alonso, Robertson), so without downgrading one of those (which I don't want to do), all I can really do is slightly upgrade an enabler. Stephens is the obvious choice, he's been flirting with the drop for about the past month and now he's suspended for 3 weeks it's surely going to happen.

Paterson perhaps, but will he keep his spot up front?

Lots of people seem keen on Camarasa - can I ask why? He's playing as no. 10 for Cardiff, but he's done next to nothing all season.

Looking at their fixtures, I certainly can't justify bringing in Brooks.

In an ideal world I'd be bringing in Richarlison or Arnautovic, but again I just can't do that unless I downgrade elsewhere.

Decided on bringing in Paterson for Stephens in the end this week. I actually took a punt on Jimenez just before GW4 so I jumped on him at pretty much the perfect time and in a lot of ways he's maybe been the best transfer I made this season.

In the end I upgraded Stephens to Paterson for this week and I'll roll my second transfer again. He just seemed like the obvious choice to take out due to his suspension and Paterson looked to be the best punt in that price range. It does unfortunately mean however that most weeks I do have to play one of Obiang or Success and just accept that I'm unlikely to ever get more than 2 points for either.

I'm in somewhat of a fortunate position whereby if this team starts to look too unbalanced, I haven't used my wildcard yet, so it's easily fixable. For now covering all the big hitters is working just fine, but if that stops being the case I'll pull the trigger!

A spate of injuries has left me in a tricky spot. I'm going to do Ings > Rondon, leaving me with the exact money to do Wilson > Arnie, Mendy > Alonso for a -4 next week, assuming that Wilson rises (he's just over the threshold for a rise tonight according to FPL Stats).

Ings is someone I'd love to hold long term, but he's a big risk of a 1 pointer this week, and then he has United and Spurs in the next two. Good chance that he blanks and starts to lose value over those weeks. He's now a wait and see.

Alonso is someone I've been resisting for a while, because his assists are utterly divorced from his underlying numbers and I think there's a lot of good value in other places in defence, but with the injury to Mendy I'm going to save myself the headache and bring him in. Even if he doesn't quite justify 7 mil, he should come close enough to it.

Yes fair point but they also have Champions league this week but thinking about it he will probably rest him for that if any.

So keyed tbem all back in , press transfers at 11.25. Website wiped them again , with no time to rekey them.
Shouldve learned not to do so late but i was all prepared. Not impressed as spent ages on this.
