Murray has 1 from 6 away, and the next whack of home matches are more than a bit dodgy. Not that I am saying Wilson, but AR would

Based on Bournemouth being a more creative team in my opinion and I think they will create more chances for Wilson than Brighton will for Murray.Smurphy's Paw wrote: ↑05 Nov 2018, 23:57Same question as Hödi
My answer was going to be Murray. What makes you think that Wilson is better for the next five or six games?
Brighton also have the lowest number of shots at goal + shots on target in the league and lowest number of crosses despite having a target man up front. 19 through balls this season for Bournemouth as opposed to Brighton’s 1 (yes 1).
Just looking at it from that perspective. Could be wrong but it’s my prediction.

Re: GW12 Transfers - Deadline: 10 Nov 11:30
Have to admit I'm afraid of not owning Wilson, which is ironic seeing as I started the season with him and tranferred him out for Mitrovic just as the Serb stopped scoring.
Now I feel I have a dilemma, I could swap for Maddison for a hit (going 3-5-2 to 3-4-3) before I'm priced out of the move this week. Wilson feels a much more reliable replacement despite the hit and fixtures.
Alternatively I could roll and bring in Martial and Brooks for Maddison and Barkley. Martial could be gold especially with good fixtures coming up and Brooks would rotate with Doherty/AWB but I fear rotation with both of these players.
Otherwise there is the option of moving Maddison for Laporte/VVD/Trippier later on if Maddison and Leicester keep stuttering. I'm really struggling to see a midfielder priced £6.8m or lower that I want seeing as I've already got Richarlison.
Any thoughts guys? Cheers.

I'm gonna be the only one left with Mitrovic at this rate . Plan to bench then play vs Southampton. Hope he doesn't get booked !

i have 2 FT and decided to give Vardy and Maddison one more chance, Burnley at home, doesnt get any better than that...
so it'll be either Schurrle or Fabianski leaving my team, don't really see a decent replacement for Fabianski for £4.5, so I guess Schurrle is out. How would you spend £6.0? Barkley? Brooks?

Every transfer I do at the moment seems to be going wrong. 4 red arrows in a row sitting at 48k so not the end of the world but was 1.9k 4 gw's ago.
Currently set up as:
Patricio (Hamer)
Alonso Mendy Doherty (Bennett, AWB)
Salah Hazard Maddison Mahrez (Hojbjerg)
Aguero Success Arnautovic
Have 1m in the bank.
Thinking of Bennett Gomez
Good move or any other suggestions? Triple Wolves defence with autosubs last 3 weeks has killed me.

It's a poor transfer - Gomez could easily be rotated/dropped and you can't afford that to happen.Highlander12 wrote: ↑06 Nov 2018, 11:52 Every transfer I do at the moment seems to be going wrong. 4 red arrows in a row sitting at 48k so not the end of the world but was 1.9k 4 gw's ago.

Robertson is by a mile the Liverpool defender to get, you should have planned for 3 pool this week, but not worth a hit for him (in case he gets rested).

You should probably be getting rid of AWB instead of Bennett anyway, though should have done a few weeks back. 2 poor fixtures still and their defence is not good anyway. Wolves are fine after this week.
I'd downgrade Mahrez enough to allow AWB -> Robertson.

Fair play to Huddersfield but if Fulham can't score even once against them then Mitro has to go. He fluffed two headers as well. I'm holding Laca and Aguero so that third spot will probably have to be a 6-7m striker.

I'd argue that Gomez has featured in the same amount of games as Robertson. 1.3m for a slight more attacking threat? Gomez clearly first choice. Robertson only has 2 assists and 0 goals so don't think he's this attacking monster everyone makes him out to be.hancockjr wrote: ↑06 Nov 2018, 13:10It's a poor transfer - Gomez could easily be rotated/dropped and you can't afford that to happen.Highlander12 wrote: ↑06 Nov 2018, 11:52 Every transfer I do at the moment seems to be going wrong. 4 red arrows in a row sitting at 48k so not the end of the world but was 1.9k 4 gw's ago.

In regards to letting Mahrez go, I think this would be a bit too knee-jerk. I have just got him in and he has had a rest now, could go and get 3 double digit hauls in a row. People got burned this week after getting Sterling in, he got benched and then got big returns in his next 2. I think I have to be patient with him.
But I have 1m to spend and would be sensible to use that upgrade Bennett/AWB so I don't have to play double Wolves. Triple Wolves is definitely overkill. Gomez would be Liverpool defensive cover and good cover at that. Who else would you suggest?

Hasn’t Lovren been injured? That would have increased Gomez game time. Struggling to decide who to bring in for Mitrovic.
I can only afford Arnie with a hit but that doesn't seem worth it with City GW13 and Newcastle away GW14. Still have my WC and will bring in Arnie then.
Like Murray and the Brighton fixtures are excellent but they don't excite going forward and worried he won't keep up current form. Although I do like that he's no international games so is sure to be fit after the break.
Jiminez is another under consideration, even considered a one GW punt on Sturridge!
Is Murray the best option?

He has been but even with him back in Gomez usually shifts to right back in place of TAA. Gomez said to be next best after VVD and also preferred to TAA at right back. He’s also been rested tonight which means a start V Fulham looks likely. Robertson’s done well with bonus points but the fact is I don’t have the extra 1.3m and Gomez is next best.Hasn’t Lovren been injured? That would have increased Gomez game time. Also hasn’t Robertson monstered the bonus points?
And Sterling was playing Southampton - Mahrez has Man U coming next.
Sterling had Spurs away immediately after being dropped. Followed by Southampton. Mahrez has United - who are poor, West Ham away and Bournemouth at home.

I can do and that’s a good point. Even if it’s just having Bennett as the first sub in order to deal with rotation. I think starting 3 is a bit overkill but as a back up maybe a good option. Although AWB’s fixtures are ok GW14 onwards. Can you do AWB Gomez/TAA?
