Re: GW12 Transfers - Deadline: 10 Nov 11:30
Maddison Martial is VERY tempting. Annoyingly I was going to bring Martial in 2 game weeks ago but decided against it.
Leicester's game at home to Burnley is a decent fixture though. Would expect them to win that one so might leave it and save some money in the bank

Pogba and Firmino to Mane and Arnie for a minus four.
A total of 28 points in hits so far this season I think.

Re: GW12 Transfers - Deadline: 10 Nov 11:30
Think I’ll roll, especially as Liverpool have Fulham at home next week, but I’m starting to think I’ll do Salah > Mane and spread the extra funds around elsewhere
I’m just not sure he’s justifying his price tag, when you consider Mane is offering the same at over £3m cheaper. On another day Mane’s goal would’ve been allowed too. I think having him is perfectly adequate cover.

Rolling a transfer to do Vardy > Jiminez + Ward > Martial

Re: GW12 Transfers - Deadline: 10 Nov 11:30
I’ve completely wasted one premium/superpremium slot with Lukaku&Firmino since GW5. With fixtures of wat, WOL, whu, NEW, hud, CAR and ars I expected a bit more than one goal.
It would feel a waste to shift Firmino to Salah (two FTs) since I already have Mane and I’m inclined to keep him in the long term rather than Salah.
Now I think I’m going to make Firmi to Arnautovic but not sure yet. Price swings might force the change already today.

If Monreal is out, probably him to Robertson. If Monreal is fit it will most likely be the same move but for Shaw instead.

Anybody considering a hit to get some pool attacking coverage in? I'm assuming most people already have it?? Desperately short by 0.7 from Silva to Mane...

Tempting. I've only just bought him in so would be frustrating, but Mahrez Mane via a defensive downgrade could appeal.SteveieB123 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 15:21 Anybody considering a hit to get some pool attacking coverage in? Not sure if taking City players out is the smartest thing to do, mind you

Probably Bennett Gomez.
Hopefully Mahrez has had his rest now and will start playing again.

Depends on the injury suffered by Maguire, but Mahrez could be on his way already.

Firmino Arnie DONE
May seem strange with Fulham up next but he's been frustrating as hell to own and nowhere near as good as last season. Competition aswell from Sturridge who could start upfront and Shaqiri who could play in the no.10 ahead of bobby
Long term move with price changes in mind also.

Re: GW12 Transfers - Deadline: 10 Nov 11:30
Surely you knew Mahrez wouldn't play every game when you brought him in though? I suppose the problem was Sané played a blinder and could well keep his place.
Patrician still projects Mahrez to score very well over the next few weeks, even with some rotation factored in. He rates him as being "at Salah and Hazard levels". If you have a decent sub he could be worth holding onto.

Re: GW12 Transfers - Deadline: 10 Nov 11:30
True, but him missing out on a 6-1 win at home against Southampton after he scored the only goal away to Spurs and after he didn’t start in the Carabao Cup wasn’t the way I expected him to not play every game. This non-appearance was quite painful and unexpected.Pirlo's Beard wrote:Surely you knew Mahrez wouldn't play every game when you brought him in though? I agree it was sickening. Went from 1st to 4th in my mini league due to a couple of Sterling captainers. Swings and roundabouts. Going to stick with Mahrez as I believe he can haul anytime he starts in this City team.Joccki_10 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 20:54True, but him missing out on a 6-1 win at home against Southampton after he scored the only goal away to Spurs and after he didn’t start in the Carabao Cup wasn’t the way I expected him to not play every game.
