That was supposed to be my GW 6 transfer, but I ended up sleeping through the deadline. Might need to ride out a price drop to make it now.

Personally I think Liverpool assets should stay, Liverpool can beat anyone tough fixtures or not, last season they had some cracking high scoring games against City.

I have Mendy but already have Alonso, Trippier, Robertson and AWB. I really want to get rid of Pickford but it feels a bit of a useless transfer, will probably just roll it and revaluate next GW.

2 FT, don't see any need to get rid of any mids and forwards so perhaps Mendy  Trippier.

Actually getting Vardy in does indeed look a very good move, Leicester’s fixtures up until 8th December look favourable. Hmm how to get Vardy in!

I brought in Ricardo Pereira of Leicester for this week and he was on the subs bench. Does anyone know if he was rested or dropped? Also have Stephens of Brighton , and Peltier of Cardiff who both seemingly went off injured? Getting a bit light on numbers

Mendy may go depending on fitness and any estimation of timescale.

Otherwise, ings to mitrovic. His form is rather damn good, the numbers stack up and fixtures are decent.

2 frees. Not sure what to do, really.

Is Mendy definitely out? Held off trading him this week because I thought it was a 1 week injury. Don't want to trade him unless he's out for more than 2 more weeks.Wan-Bissaka is a handy replacement and I see Mendy as a season long keeper, so wouldn't want to trade him and lose 0.1/0.2 in value just to get him back later.

Begovic on thin ice... easy fixtures, but Bournemouth stink.

Probably Mendy to Doherty unless some positive news on Mendy's injury is released.

hmmm all this talk of Vardy and I can do Mendy to Doherty and Ings to Vardy and keep Zaha. Would be a hit though and I have no idea of B Silva will play next weekend. Guess I'll wait on the news on Mendy

Mendy will probably be fit again by the time I need to use a 3rd top 6 defender. Got 2x 5.1 midfield space fillers that could probably do with one of them being upgraded/ changed. On 2 FTs so should probably use one rather than lose it, but if all I'm going to do is change a likely benched player, is there really a good reason for doing so?

Have to let the rest of the team know that 11 points isn’t good enough.

While the rest of them stay with their 2 pointers...

I won’t play TAA til GW9, when I plan to WC anyway so may as well make him a more usable player

Mendy  Trippier

I have the exact funds to do:
Schlupp  Doherty
Wilson  Mitrovic (-8)

Is it worth it?

Walcott was only ever a stop-gap. A failed one at that. Jota looks very good value at 6.1m. There’s a reason many good managers had him at season start, and from the last couple of matches I saw him playing better after a very underwhelming couple of opening matches. If he didn’t get dropped after the opening 2 matches he ain’t gonna get dropped at any point.

I will likely sell Mitrovic this week too, so looks like I’m going against the grain. Mitro starting to look a bit overpriced to me and I’m generally not interested in what’s gone on so far.

Tough one this week. Pereira for Leicester not playing has thrown a spanner in the works. I could have lived with an injured Mendy as the plan was a straight swap of Walcott to Richarlison. Now I have Bennett and Wan Bissaka starting with TAA away at Stamford Bridge. Need Mendy and Pereira news and ideally a Walcott bang against his old side and Richarlison blank to ensure prices are not an issue.

Genuinely surprised by this, he's pretty much the top of my wish list. Talisman for an attacking team, their main focal point, nailed on, on pens, good fixtures coming up, cheap...
