The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
Feels like it’s impossible to enjoy the weekends football knowing that you don’t have all three in your team as they are so explosive.
However they come at a cost....
Wondered how many if any people currently are sat on?
I have just wild carded to get all three.

As many says in other threads it might not be that efficient since you can't captain them all, so don't know if it is that common. I have Mo, Kun and Auba right now.

Re: The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
I managed to get in all three without having a side that’s too unbalanced. Not 100% secure having two £5m midfielders and cheapy defenders to rotate, but at least I have options.

The thing is, I think you'd be silly not to get Mane as well as your 4th essential...

Re: The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
The above is essentially choosing Kane & 4.5m def over something like Mane & Alonso. The advantage of Kane would be that he's another captain option, but Salah/Kun seem to cover that just fine anyway. Doesn't look that great a deal to me.

Re: The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
I think it is a bit of a dilemma, but probably not this week, with Spurs at (an admittedly disjointed) MU. Agree that there is no need for co-existence while other midfielders are scoring heavily and costing less than Kane and Salah. The Kane / Aguero couplet is most worrying for me - only the most extreme optimists expect Aguero to start every week, and it's not straightforward to hop to Kane.

Lose Pogba, and it may be workable.
Historically this idea would probably have been pants though.

Not much of a reasoning, really. Mostly because I am stupid.TOPCATDUSS wrote: ↑24 Aug 2018, 22:06Love to hear your reasoning... what do you know that we don’t???
Aguero / Auba will do as well as Kane, and cheaper. Thus no Kane.
No Salah because the math is a little overpoweringly in support of not having him
viewtopic.php?f=99&t=127850&start=330#p3220641
No Aguero because Aubameyang --- that has little rationale there - it was one or the other. And now that there's been a decision taken, there's no point in backing off.

Re: The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
I am considering losing Salah for hazard/kane/auba and just waiting on a larger data set before pulling the trigger - maybe switch to 4-4-2 with premium def but not sure atmbaganboy wrote: ↑25 Aug 2018, 03:45Not much of a reasoning, really. Hi bb, I was stuck in traffic the other day when I was reading through your comments about picking Aubameyang over Agüero. Then I saw cars in another line moving faster so I switched lines. I quickly found out that I made the wrong decision. I got stuck again, noticed that cars that were behind me earlier in my first line moved up and knew that there was only one way to correct my wrong call. Took my loss, switched lines again and got home faster than I had expected.
Would you have persevered and have stayed in your line?

Of course. I have no ego in Fantasy Football. Once I am convinced that Aguero is the way to go ( and am convinced about the best way to go) i will change tracks.Joccki_10 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2018, 11:42baganboy wrote:No Aguero because Aubameyang --- that has little rationale there - it was one or the other. The advantage with the way I play is that 1. there is a measuring scale with performances and if the base target numbers hold I shall be able to be certain of the value of one over the other early, and 2. Even the worse performing big-money striker would not serve out a mound of turd in the time I keep him. Hopefully.

Re: The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
To answer the question you ask -- yes man, I am indeed tracking xA, xG, SoT and those stuff for Aguero vs Auba (vs Lukaku).
This is the part of FPL I like the least. The tactical part of decision - making.
But it has to be done.
Unless the evidence is unequivocal, 8 weeks. End of sub-season 2.

Re: The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
Anyone else not that bothered about Kane (might eat those words) obviously he'll score well but I'd rather go with Salah and Aguero. He still doesn't look 100% after the world cup and there are some really good cheaper strikers at the moment like Zaha, Wilson, Arnie, Mitrovic and for the price even Jimenez looks decent. Think I'd rather put the money into midfielder and defence right now.

Re: The Big 3! Kane, Kun and Mo
Only three games gone, but Understat has the expected goals per game for both Salah and Aguero at 0.89. Kane is at 0.59 which is very good, but well behind the other two. So Kane is currently lagging a bit.

Where is the rest of your money with this?
For example I have Kun & Aub up front w Salah in midfield but I also have Robertson Mendy Alonso and Trippier. if I want Salah too I have to drop Aub for like Wilson but feels like having Salah + Mane over any 2 forwards is the way to go RN especially with Kanes form.

Only got Kun at the minute - better value in Mane, Hazard, Vardy, Firmino and your premium defence.
