So Alan "Lock, Stock and 2 Flaring Nostrils" Sheerass and Ian "Geek Glasses don't make him any less" Wrong have wound me up already. FFS Smarmy Lineacre is palatable with those 2.

Can I ask why this is in the FPL forum and not the General Football forum?

Yep, and last man - but that has changed?

re FK, been waiting for a sensible ankle, and Pickford's touch makes it look better so it hits the side-netting?

Rio was on for the CS, and is easier to ignore. these 2 are aggressive, in the hope that people believe every thing they spout. What happened to speaking slowly made people more likely to be convinced?

There's been a tradition since 2011 for a MoTd commentary thread in the sub-forum, as you can see in this search.

I've renamed the thread to keep with the traditional name however.

I don't really watch it much these days. I try to watch the matches as highlights give a false reality as to what's happening. Obviously I'll look at the stats too and follow the scores, but I rarely watch MOTD as it's on so late/early. I suppose I need to start recording it on planner. Only just thought of that.

Then perhaps the tradition is antiquated and needs addressing?

MotD is a television program about football that I believe covers FA Cups games when the competition begins. Thus has absolutely nothing to do with Fantasy Premier League.

You never know, move it to the correct forum and you might get more than two posters discussing it. ;)

This isn't a thread about MoTD, it's a commentary thread, for those watching it in real time.

Just like The Rounded Keeper, it's a (seven year) tradition in the FPL sub-forum and I have no issue with it remaining here.

It isn’t about MOTD?

It seems to be just another example of the most insular sub forum on FISO making their own rules up to suit.

Spurs look poorly organised defensively. May be early season issues that will be ironed out, but Newcastle could have had 3 or 4 based on MOTD.

Think you have a point there.

There are many of us who enjoy this thread but for whom FPL is the least interesting of the four main fantasy games.

It depends about what this thread is going to be - about football and Motd in general or about good prospects for FPL that you have seen while watching Motd. I tend to agree that it should be in a different forum than FPL as there are plenty of forums about FPL prospects etc. (And I do watch Motd just to find some good picks or see how my FPL team players are doing mostly (even though those are just highlights))

Tripper on fk’s with Eriksen on the pitch.

Genuinely temped with a back 5 of Alonso, Trippier, Mendy, Robertson, Shaw..

Beast mode stats from Trippier and crazy that he's relegated Eriksen from FKs

Brooks looking very dangerous and productive for a 5.0 BOU asset with great fixtures coming up

That West Ham defence though *shakes head* - they were daft enough to play a high line against Liverpool; Arsenal could murder them at the Emirates

Reality check. Man United have beaten the second bottom team by one goal. At home. With about £1billion worth of “talent” on the field.

Shearer was such a ....... yet again.

I thought MU were as impressive as I have seen for a while, but then I missed the first 10 mins or so, and predicted the comeback which I dipped in and out of as the Speedway was more well everything.

Pereira storming forward for Leicester I’m keen on him

Bernard/Richarlison looking good for Everton especially with Siggy providing from 10 role

Utd poor but Pogba bossed it 2nd half amazing performance.

Second what Libero said about Brooks he is a quality player, possibly bring him in after Bournemouth’s tough run.

Dyche and Hart moaning as of it would have changed anything... They should look at MU's 8th in the 9-0
