With Bernard and Gomez joining Everton I’m starting to lean towards Tosun over King, fixtures are about the same.

Ings to Sou- 5.5m! Could be interesting if that happens.

Switched Arne to Tosun, but keeping Zaha for now. Could still see bringing in Benteke for Zaha too.

Does Everton's overall signings make Tosun a solid option now? Tempted to bring him in for Arnie (although they've strengthened attacking wise too) and then do Richarlison to Jota to avoid a double up.

I'm not avoiding, I'm embracing:

Coleman/Richarlison/Tosun

Some great signings for Everton, but it's too early to tell who'll start, who's fit, who'll play where, and most importantly how long it'll take them to gel with Tosun.

I'm anning a relatively early wild card, so it's wait and see for me!

e certainly can become a cheap must have if he gets the chances. But will he start the season or from the bench ? Does Hughsie like to play attacking football as I always think of him as defence first

Southampton wouldn't pay 20m for a bench warmer, but I do imagine he'll be introduced gradually.

Still going with my King-Benteke duo. But as I've got 1m ITB, even Arnie-Zaha duo is a possibility. Would be a much safer duo but somehow Benteke is so tempting. Perhaps King to a 7m Arnie/Zaha/Tosun would be a better pick? I know, you say keep King and get rid of Bentekkers instead. :(

I’d expect arnie to play virtually every game and chicarito and Perez to rotate based on opposition. Perez most likely back up. When they park the bus I’d tip arnie up front and Chico to the bench and a third mid in his place

Sounds about right to me.

Sturridge is too much of a risk for me.
But good luck to those who use him.

Hell score a double GW1.
Ill transfer him in.
He will be injured gameweek 2.

Is this a poem? :D
lol I thought the same thing, a haiku to be more precise

I can not make a case for not including King so he came in 30 minutes ago and downgraded Jota to Neves. I think it's safer to have King now given the ownership. Zaha takes A2 for me, he has so much around him, and a lot are established PL operators, that it would a big surprise if he flopped.

Yes Zaha is back on the map for me after the speculation. It's him or Tosun and that's a tough one. I presume Zaha will be in a correct frame of mind and playing up front with Benteke as opposed to predominantly playing from the wing...

Zaha v Tosun v King for me. I want Arnie and I have Kun - the third space is still free. I really want Zaha but I'm worried he will be too wide. Help!

The last 24 hours or so Tosun has come into my thinking much more - his goals per game ratio is better than Zaha & King's, his bonus potential is greater and his fixtures look good. He didn't make one assist in his time last year but I guess he is an out and out striker so this is less likely?

To be honest, we were playing in such a negative style it would have been hard for him to create many chances never mind assists. He's a big strong lad who can hold up the ball fairly well, and with the runners either side of him in Richarlison, Walcott, Bernard and Lookman, there should be plenty of opportunity for lay offs in a much more dynamic system. Well, I hope so, at least!

Off topic, but you do expect Lookman to still be at Everton come September?

Interesting. I know he made a couple of sub appearances last year. Is his starting place totally secure or could it be a mixed bag?

For the first few game weeks I would imagine he is pretty secure, at least until Bernard is up to speed. After that, depending on the system I would reckon it will be a mix of him starting as the lead striker or perhaps being benched for a false 9 strategy involving Richarlison, Bernard and Walcott. But I have him in my squad at the moment as I feel he's secure enough for the first few games.

In regards to Lookman, I think he will remain an Everton player after the close of the European window following Silva's comments, but it depends how much he pushes for a move. Wouldn't be surprised if he left on a loan again, but he is certainly a player Silva wants to keep on the books.

Cheers. Did he play many 90 min games last year or was he subbed early a lot?

Anyone got any feedback on Tosun from the first few games?

With him and King as my two cheaper forwards, I need to make changes.

I have the same two and decided to ditch King. Tosuns stats imply he's been unfortunate not to have gotten more, while Richarlison has scored 3 goals from just 4 shots, I expect this will even out soon.

King OTOH is drifting too wide and isn't shooting in the box regularly enough for my liking. I still expect the odd goal here or there but Tosen certainly seems more likely to return points imo.

I've still got Tosun, getting King out was a bigger priority for me. I am contemplating moving Tosun > Auba for a -4 though if Auba drops this week (I have 3.9M ITB) but it certainly isn't urgent. Those funds could also go towards Alonso or upgrading my 4th mid from Cairney.

In any case they've all had at least one return in the 1st two weeks, was anyone really expecting more than that from these guys?
