who are people getting rid of jones for apart from liverpool defenders?

I already have robertson but want rid of jones as he seems to be out this week and has chelsea, away game, liverpool, blank in his next 4 before I WC in 32 anyway

Targets are Ake/daniels, hegazi ?safe everton? with double gameweeks and a good fixture this week, or mee, maguire, vertonghen without a GW31 but better overall potential in the next 3 GWs.

Yeah I think ake/daniels (which did you pick?) would be a front runner at the moment if i do make the move with mustafi rotating in for 29 and 30 then ake/daniels 31. makes me think it's worth the risk of the hit when I put it that way..

Yet to pull the trigger but I'm likely to be supping on four pints in the Hitsville Tavern. Alonso to Vert and Gomez to VVD (-4). The second transfer looks, on the face of it, sideways and unnecessary, but I'm likely to keep VVD all the way up to GW37 and I'm confident he'll outscore Gomez by more than four points over that time. Add in a greater rotation threat to Gomez than VVD and I'm fine with taking the hit. It's also a 'cover' move.

Might do all 3 for a -4, but I’m not sure it’s worth it. Suppose it’ll depend on the pressers tomorrow and whether or not Jones is likely to play this weekend.

Keep Mustafi. As for who of Jones and Otamendi to shift that depends on two things imo. 1) How badly (or otherwise Jones is injured) and 2. What you can do with the difference in cash pocketed if you sell Otamendi rather than Jones.

Wow. for once i will have to pay for being cautious. I want VVD and Firmino but I was waiting for the press conference and they both went up. Not cool.

Which makes me think. What If instead of Firmino for Kun I will get Auba and instead of VVD for Jones I will try to go for Mane and transfer out Sterling? City defence is anything but solid recently and with 4 CB fit Pep might experiment a bit. Auba might be with a chance for a good score. I could also take -4 and get all 3 of them but I dont like hits that much. also next GW United are playing Palace on Monday so Jones will have 10 days to recover if it is just a knock.

I guess I will just wait for the pressers and see What is going on.

I did Aguero to Firmino yesterday.

Considering sterling to Mane for a -4 which would leave me with the Liverpool power 3 up top but not sure taking that hit is worth it this week as Sterling looks a sure starter having been rested in the FA Cup v Wigan.

Well I did my -4 last night and got a 0.2mn back from it.

Jones, Alonso and Quaner to Van Dijk, Firmino and Dawson. I don't like having to bench one of Dunk/Mee/Daniels with those fixtures but hey ho...I'll want to make the changes at some point anyway. Always uncomfortable though, sticking a good clean sheet prospect at sub1.

Similar situation to you SK. I sold Otamendi and brought VVD in but I've put him straight on to my bench. Can't find a place in the team for him unless I go four at the back and drop Sterling (ars) to the bench. Maybe one for the 'who to bench' thread.
