Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
No yellow flag but newspaper reports everywhere saying he’s a serious doubt for tomorrow’s game?
What does this do to the (c) Kane every week crowd? Do it regardless as I doubt he will just cameo?

Yeah, you'd imagine a start or not in the squad with him.

A minor strain to his left hamstring. What now?

As long as he's back for Palace at home, I don't really care that much.
He wouldn't have been given the armband this gameweek.

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
Well that's annoying... I'm going to have to switch back to Lukaku with my wildcard and leave enough in the bank to return back to Kane next week
Edit: Actually, Lacazette might be a better one-week punt

Will he be risked against Palace? Probably just ship him out this week for a week punt in Lacazette and bring him back for Palace news depending.

Your prerogative, but is it really worth it, just because Kane's injured?RuudTheDudeVanTheMan wrote: ↑27 Oct 2017, 10:58 As a fantasy owner gutted , as a United fan delighted. Free hit????????
Save it for the gameweek when there's only three or four fixtures after the FA Cup semi finals.

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
I can sell him for 12.5 with a buy back of 12.7 and I have 0.1m in the bank. Is there a chance he could drop to 12.6 between now and Palace?

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
This is an absolutely focal question: Does he play against Palace?
If he doesn't then he has GW10 no-show, GW11 no-show, GW12 ars. That means he is a good fantasy pick no sooner than Nov 25.
So do we think he will play against Palace? If he doesn't then I classify him as "transfer out IMMEDIATELY".

But who for?
First time I moved early this season (Lukaku Agüero on Tuesday) and it immediately backfired. I'm not getting Lukaku back for Kane. No.

You should take Jesus, Lacazette or Firmino, in this priority order.Joccki_10 wrote: ↑27 Oct 2017, 11:11Finisher1 wrote: ↑27 Oct 2017, 11:09This is an absolutely focal question: Does he play against Palace?

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
Just best to bench him for a week then?
Only problem is that would mean me playing Naughton (ars)

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
He was very close to 12.8 and I'm sure he'll go hurtling down immediately but I would imagine that getting to 12.6 will depend on whether he plays against Madrid. Though I'm not an expert in this area

Bench is fine if we assume he will play in GW11 CRY.TheBigLewandowski wrote: ↑27 Oct 2017, 11:20 Just best to bench him for a week then?

On the other hand if he doesn't play, then you are screwed. You have then suffered from price changes, had 12.5m bench player in GW10 and GW11 and will have 12.5m player with a possibly difficult GW12 fixture (Arsenal defence is always a mystery though). And price changes keep running against you all this time.
This decision might make or break your season.

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
Pochettino did reveal: “We cannot take a risk with Harry.
“It is only a small injury but there is no sense risking turning it into something more serious.”
That sounds promising. I’ve got 2 FTs but I think I’ll hold and do some tidying up elsewhere.

I will bench him this week and put the armband to Silva or Sterling, more likely the first one.

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
Lacazette stands out by a mile at home to Swansea. The Ozil/Sanchez/Lacazette partnership shouts goals.
Aguero - lots own Jesus already and he played 120mins midweek.
Morata - Off the boil along with Chelsea in a way.
Lukaku - Two poor fixtures in an arguably out of form United team.
Firmino - Owned him already this season and done eff all plus it’s generally a lower team Liverpool struggle against. Huddersfield will be well up for it after that United game.
Hopefully Kane drops to 12.6 so I can buy him back in 2 weeks if he’s fit for Palace without having to remove someone else’s.

According to FPL statistics, Kane is absolutely hosing down. He was on the verge of 12.8 and he's now down to 60%.

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
I did free hit before the Kane news
Feel half relief about Kane half disappointment because I was going to risk it without him and now it's not much of a gamble
I obviously don't feel you need to save free hit for the short game week. Should have plenty of time to prepare team for that week.

Well well well...........a very naughty turn of turn of events for those of us that have already made transfers. On the plus side most people will be looking to get rid. On another note if kane is defo out then rest assured he will be in recovery mode till 18 th nov (Hamstring aint a quick fix). Up middle finger to those that said it was cramp. Feel like ive been hoodwinked

Kane -> Lacazette done!
Kane is dropping, and With Lacazette all ready having dropped, I think this will work out.
Going With Laca as captain!

Re: Harry Kane’s GW10 hammy
The real problem is that Kane looks the best captain option by far in GW11. Otherwise i'd sell until GW13 at least.
I don't rate Lacazette and he never seems to play beyond 80 mins, plus his next 2 are bad matches...I defo wouldn't want him for those if Kane is still out.
