I really don't see any value below Firmino (9.1) or even Vardy (8.5) although Benteke at 7.6 under Roy looks to be picking up some form with 2 assists in his last 2 games?

There's still time for some moves in the transfer window. Someone like Ings moving on loan would be very interesting.

Wilson is likely to be coming in for me this week (unless I decide to go Kun + Kane rather than just one).
Looks a great price at 5.7m, very much first choice while Defoe is injured, Bournemouth have v good fixtures apart from one Chelsea game (including the troublesome GW28). Plus he just scored and assisted!
(Will probably have to check Defoe injury status first)

I'm leaning this way too.. hadn't realized he was as low as 5.7, seems to have been overlooked somewhat?Stemania wrote: ↑14 Jan 2018, 15:01 Wilson is likely to be coming in for me this week (unless I decide to go Kun + Kane rather than just one).

The only tricky thing for him is how long Defoe might be out for. This was the latest I just spotted in the Press Conferences thread:
"Jermain [Defoe] is good at the moment [fractured ankle], but he’s restricted to wearing a protected boot so there’s no massive update on him but we’re expecting him to progress in the time frame we have set."
The original diagnosis was 10 weeks I think, which would put it not too far off GW28, which was the real payoff for Wilson, having Newcastle at home whilst the blanks are likely happening.
It could also be that Ibe is the value pick at Bournemouth, though in midfield. His stats have been terrific recently and he's even cheaper at 4.8m - was talked up on the FFS Scoutcast this week too I recall.

Ibe might well be the best overall value, but Wilson would have to be more practical to FPL managers in this low striker availability season?

Ibe and Wilson are not competing against each other in FPL, are they?
If they are both good, take both. If not, take neither. I think they are individual picks.

Re: Budget & Midrange Strikers (8.0 and lower) 2017/18
Not a Bournemouth fan, but my understanding is that King tends to play in behind the striker so it's Defoe, perhaps Afobe that threaten Wilson.
King plays better with pace in front (as I understand), so getting the best from him actually favours Wilson/Afobe over Defoe too.
One thing worth considering as well is Stanislas, as he might take pen duty off Wilson if playing. That doesn't really hurt Wilson as much as it just takes away a potential advantage.

Re: Budget & Midrange Strikers (8.0 and lower) 2017/18
I'd expect Wilson to play with King too.
In fact, exactly this:
I've got space for only one cheapie in my starting eleven - 2nd cheapest attacker in the 352 would be Sane at 8.4m - so it's certainly one or the other (if any) for me. Ibe might just be cheap enough for an 8th attacker I suppose, but 8th attacker is minimal priority for transfers right now.
In fact, exactly this:
Perhaps the only caveat is that Ibe should keep his place when Defoe is fit?

You guys are right, Ibe has indeed great stats. It looks like a pretty tough decision which is the go-to combination until GW28: Kane-Aguero-Ibe, Kane-Wilson-DeBruyne or Aguero-DeBruyne-Ibe.
Edit: Forgot one more Aguero-Wilson-DeBruyne.
