GW6 Captain

Let's get it on.

Agüero for me if I decide to bring him in and he doesn't start in their cup game.

Kane if I do not.

I couldn't stretch to Aguero without compromising more of my underperforming, but high potential of course, squad than I'm comfortable with... So Jesus it is. I'm strangely optimistic.

Kane vice.

I think I will give Kane a shot for once. West Ham have looked leaky to me since pre-season.

Most definitely

Although... I have a gut feeling that Kane will either blank, or outscore Kun.

I see 1 ballsy vote for Wayne
Considering I have him too as 3rd, I don't wanna be tempted.
After all, he scored both Toffees goals so far :o
1 each vs (stk,MCI) then blank vs (che,TOT,mun)
OK they're playing bad now, but how much is due to fixtures?
will they get back scoring vs BOU (3rd worst PL defence so far) ?
He'll hardly score in double digit tho, and either K will

Same here for now. Jesus has averaged around 65 minutes per game.

That being said, his goal-scoring record has been decent and I am sure City can put 3 or so past CRY in the first 60 minutes.

I await the lineup that City will put out tonight and how their players fare.

Kane was rested yesterday.

On paper it has to be Aguero. Home against Palace who haven't scored a goal in the prem is an absolute no brainer. Of course it will backfire, but as it stands there is no better choice based on the facts.

Aguero is not a defender, he won't get any clean sheet points.

With Palace's scoring record Walker would have a good chance of clean sheet, assisi and or a goal.
But I like Kane to score two at West Ham.
Jesus could be rested but should still get time to score hence the VC to cover Kane if he gets man flu.

Sorry, I must have got him mixed up with Kun Walker.

tough battle between kane and aguero, even if kane has a much more difficult task,
I guess the former is based on the "he must score now" logic,
because the previous one was equally difficult with the swans keeping 4 consecutive clean sheets away from home,
but nobody seemed to care!

ALSO:

Goals Conceded (CS)
10: West Ham (2), Everton (1)
  9: Liverpool (2), Watford (2), Leicester (1), Bournemouth (none)
8: Arsenal (2), CrYstal Palace (NONE)

Hhmmm.... Cherries kept no CS as well, but conceded 1 more goal....
After all, I might go with Capt.Wayne

My captain record so far this season: Three attacking returns (all Lukaku), two blanks (both Kane).

Kane to make it 3 for 3 this weekend? Let's find out

If I was on a wildcard right now and could choose any players, should I use this thread, (and poll), to select Kane over Aguero, because Kane has the most votes and is presumably therefore the best captain option this week?

I'm currently on Jesus (c) but I'm not liking how he is in the side to play West Brom tonight in the Carabao Cup. Aguero not in the squad.

I think there are more Kane owners than Aguero owners though; so the fact that most people selected Kane as a captain doesn't necessarily mean they prefer him as a captain in this GW, as they might not have Aguero.

For instance, I selected Lukaku, but I don't have Aguero and if I did, I'd captain him over Lukaku this week.

I just hope Aguero doesn't outscore Kane by 10+ points for eff's sake. Is this too much to ask for? I can accept him outscoring Kane by 3-4 points, but outscoring by 10+ points must be against all odds. I know it's coming though, I eff hate this game.

Will be Kane(c) for me. If Saturday doesn't get off to a good start I will have a gruelling afternoon. Unless I captain Kolasinac and keep the agony going until Monday maybe?

With 8 games on Saturday including all the main captain picks we'll have a pretty good idea where we stand by Saturday night anyway. I don't drink much nowadays but I think I might get a bottle of red in just in case.

No. Unlike FFS, the FISO poll asks who you will captain. It doesn't ask who is the best captain. You can't captain a player you don't have.

Personally I think Sanchez might be a great captain this week. But as, like most others, I don't have him then I couldn't vote for him. :P
