Aren't you're playing a DGW defender instead of a Chelsea defender this week, perhaps even it's a Palace defender?

Yep - Distin/Stones/Ward then one of Gerrard or Terry or Cahill.

Pellegrini- "All the squad's ok apart from Nastasic"

Could the Silva transfer be back on without any worries?

My guess is he's a transfer waiting to happen a week or two down the line. For that reason, I've avoided him.

I don't know, he sounded quite evasive when he said that. Although it was in relation to a question about Toure's knock, so maybe Toure's the one who's not fully fit

I'll playing Wilson of Stoke ahead of Gerrard this week (and a Chelsea defender).

I don't fancy a Liverpool penalty this time round, although there is always Demichelis....

What's peoples thoughts on Silva? Wasn't even the squad today. What's the likelyhood he'll play Monday against the Baggies? Or should I be safe and go with Yaya  Mata instead?

I'll be keeping him. He should hopefully make Monday's game. But i wouldn't bring him in, when you could go for a less risky pick.

Yep, it's because Pellegrini said he's injured at the moment (along with Navas and Yaya).

He's extremely likely to be out, but as Pellegrini's always cautious on injuries and the game's on Monday, i'm keeping him in the line-up just in case.

Know from the past not to take everything at face value when the game is over three days off.

This is a quote posted on ffs from AJ. regarding Silva and what Pellegrini actually said,

'His actual quotes "We continue with the same situation with Yaya, Silva and Navas. The three of them are injured for the moment. Yaya is improving but he has a muscle injury so it is difficult for him to be back so soon." His English is not good but hardly rules him out of the WBA game'

Echoes my thoughts, he can't be ruled out just yet, as we know he's been struggling with an ankle injury, so it's nothing new.

Silva shown in training today, on Man City TV.
Three days to go to the match.
I reckon he'll play on Monday.

Yep, this seems to be most likely, I just think Pellegrini was referring to his ongoing ankle problems, he never said he'd ruled him out and his English while not bad isn't exactly his first language.

Anyone up for some Uri Geller tactics to send positive healing vibes to Silva's ankle?

I have Silva and Hazard but my first 2 subs are Sterling and Dann so think I will just suck it up and not take any hits.

Yeah it's not worth a spend. I should earn bonus points for having one of each colour injury on my bench

Ignore that, woke up and did Hazard  Nasri (-4)

Looked at next week and want Rooney as captain against Norwich so this frees up the funds to change Lukaku to Shrek and gets rid of a red square.

Gutted, reading that tells you that he is not a double gameweek option.

It's a tricky one for the next DGW, with the prospect of just the one game for Silva. I can't imagine many bringing him in for that, and owners are left with this dilemma. Saying that, I would take a repeat of the last one and 12 points, but one game played.

The comments about Moyes from United fans on a connecting link to that are amusing.

Ok, so its the Manchester Evening News so some bias is expected, but the journalistic content of some of their articles is very questionable!!

On what basis? There has been no news to indicate that so if he plays tonight it's just a poor decision on your part.

You need to have a better judgement of the game's rules, a 4 point hit just gets you a second new player, not the certainty that a player who't play again this season.

I'm hoping he doesn't play for a different reason...thought he had a very slim chance of playing so put Coleman 1st sub expecting him likely to come on. I didn't then expect Coleman to get 11pts in the one game I've benched him for this season. If he plays I'll rip my hair out too especially as my rival only has Barkley as 1st sub to replace Silva.

Now out of the 2 wish I'd gone for Gerrard as Pell has already implied Silva can't play the dgw37. Not sure there's much between them though with those penalties. In fact I should have got rid of Silva instead of Yaya Toure.

A Billy Bongo cast-iron guarantee then. I'm off to put a bet on Silva not playing
