Do these matter? All that matters is league position. This is like a losers club. Like Tour De France celebrating who came 19th.

Better to be a loser on 7*, 12* or 13* than a loser on 4* :P

:?

A green arrow indicates an improvement in league position so it does matter, especially by your logic.....

It is like celebrating moving up to 19th in the TdF when you were in the 20s.

Onwards and upwards......

Richie Porte was hugely important to the outcome of the TdF. I would also wager that the chap who came 148th garnered as many column inches as the person who came first.

Can't believe how well things are going at the moment :D

Each of the last 3 weeks I've acheived my highest GW rank to date of the season. When teams are so similar finding that one player others don't have who does well can make all the difference. Adebayor did it the last 2 weeks, this week it was Giroud.

14 not out

Thank you Bob :-)

Ha ha...Not certain yet. I have the money to upgrade Adebayor to Aguero, but I'm not convinced that's going to be a decisive move with Aguero only just coming back from injury and tricky fixtures the following 2 weeks. Will maybe see how he does tonight. Liverpool have 2 home fixtures now so Sturridge is currently prominent in my thoughts.

Probably doesn't count, but I took over a friend's dead team in GW11 and have since had 11 greenies in a row: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/2712835/history/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You shouldn't be multi teaming.

12 and out as well.
Unfortunately I was expecting it. Like DD, too many red and amber flags appeared late in the week, after I had made my transfers, to compete against recently wild-carded 'fresh' teams. It was good whilst it lasted though and I rose over 800,000 places during the run

Well, bringing Aguero in wasn't a bad move, but taking Adebayor out was :(

Blanks from Giroud and Ozil at home to Fulham (who have easily the worst defence in the league) saw an end to the run

14 all out

I've got 5. This follows 5 reds in a row, which followed 5 greens in a row. So, predicting red this week

On my second 6 green arrow run of the season. Hopefully it won't end so soon this time.

4 in a row now for me. From a low of 1.8mil up to 338k. I imagine many on here will have a similar story of a bad start but slowly climbing the rankings.

I have a feeling this could be a good season for those of us who play the game more closely. So many dodgy teams doing well after the strange results. Should start to correct itself. Money is also not a huge issue right now, so playing catch up doesn't have the added burden of being priced out of the templates.

Huge one for me this week. All the way up from 1.8m to 380k in one fell swoop.

Safe to say I'm happy with how this weekend panned out.

Green arrows all the way the last few weeks, up to around 170k. Steady. Have dropped the WC this week as well, so hoping to break into the 100k in next couple of weeks

4 in a row for me albeit from an extremely low starting point. My game week ranks have come in pairs so far:

2 in double millionaire's club, then 2 in the single millions but still enough to get me moving up, and now 2 around 500k-600k. Still only 1.6m overall rank but Rome wasn't built in a day...

How far behind the overall leader does one need to be before it's time to accept that they're not winning this year? I have 250 points and sitting just below the 1,000,000 mark. The overall leader has 394, so although I could obviously still catch that particular player, there's just no chance to overtake 1,000,000 players is there?

Where can I find any stats of previous overall winners, and their overall ranking after each 38 weeks of the season?

To adapt the Alcoholics Anonymous advice: take it one game week at a time.

After hitting (what I hope was) the nadir in GW6, have had 4 green arrows in a row and gone from 500k to 80k.

Although now I have two free transfers I'll no doubt mess up my team.
