Yahoo FISO Cup 2009/10
http://yahoofooty.741.com
I could not work out a H2H type system with the amount of teams we have, so I have gone back to my old and trusted Knock-Out Cup game.
Some Slight alterations this season. There are more teams for a start and I have made the first stage over 4 weeks not two.
After the first 4 games weeks the best 16 teams will be entered into the Knockout stages which like last year are all played over 2 games weeks.
See web site I have set up (link above) to see layout etc.
This just for fun and to add something to the Yahoo game.

Re: Yahoo FISO Cup 2009/10
Since posting the item about the FISO Cup game a new team has entered (Jezinho), the more the merrier.
I will not update the website with this or any other team that enters, until the first update. The rules don't change just the number of people who will be knocked out after week 4

Well here we are at week 4 and we finally know who will be in the knockout stages of the FISO Cup.
The biggest scorers this week; frattonender (140.5) and Chickity China (122.5) jump into the knockout stages at the expense of Padmole Fiso and fozzies.
The draw for the Last 16 Knockout stages are in later post.
Don't forget to check out the new Euro side game I will be starting soon.

Not that you will really need it as the info is here.
But I have updated FISO Cup web site as well.

As I have had no feed back about the Euro (style) Cup game, I am not 100% sure I will bother with it which a bit of a shame

Here are the scores for the first week of the last 16 stage of the FISO Cup.
Some close matches, none more so than Giler Kentang and frattonender who both have 99.5 points.
Shock results was 8th place Crosby FC beating 1st placed Over under sideways down by 24 points. That put the cat amongst the pigeons.

So is there a replay this week for the drawn game or is there some tie break that I missed in the rules somewhere?

Here are the results for the second week in the last 16 stage and below is the draw for the last 8 stage.
Good luck to all those still in this game.
For the rest of us there is still the Euro Cup side game, then again the same chaps will most likely win that as well

Re: Yahoo FISO Cup 2009/10
Week 1 of the Quater Finals
United4ever and Crosby FC, plus Vive La Liva and Benchwarmers Unitedare still pretty close and it could go either way.
Team USA should win against Rocket Fuelled Chimps, but it could end up quite close if the chimps have a good second week.
Tim's Titans look to have blown frattonenders chances of going any further already, but like the chimps the frattonenders could pull off a miracle
PLEASE NOTE
I am moving house next week and will be without the internet for a week or two (or 3 knowng BT), so no updates will be done in that period. I'm sure you can work out if you've won or not or just wait until I am back in the saddle and catch up.

Re: Yahoo FISO Cup 2009/10
So now we know who the two teams in the final will be.
Team USA and Benchwarmers United.
Tim's Titans loss just goes to show that just because you are top of the league, you are never sure of success in one off cup games.
Good luck to the two teams left and may the best man (woman?) win.

Re: Yahoo FISO Cup 2009/10
The first week of the final leaves the game quite close so either team can still win this side comp.

The Final of the 2009 FISO Cup
The winner is
Benchwarmers United
Well done mate, well payed.
Hard luck Team USA, so close but there's no prize for runners up. Come to think of it there is no prize for the winner either, so its was all for bragging rights.
Thank you all.
