You won't win another penny if it dies through lack of punters because of an off-putting name

Fantasy Footy Live would be far better in my view. Naturally makes people want to know more.

This games unique selling point is that you can see how you're doing minute by minute - that was not advertised well enough in my opinion.

What about sky sports? Live fantasy football, whilst watching the live games. A winner in my eyes :D

Stakesy - get in contact with Football3s aka picklive.. they have a somewhat similar concept there, perhaps theres something to be done there.. not sure?

Other than that, skysports, bookies, facebook.. just getting the name out there.... having a very cheap version to get people depositing, if you could get with Sky Sports you'd be in the dough.

One final thought, the football pools website. They have introduced a number of new weekly pool betting games and this may fit in with there model :?:

Also try telegraph, just a quick e-mail regarding their 'eppidrone' - people sign up to it through the TFF site, and it's small bets against eachother on little things ala betfair, but seem little fantasy football like unlike usual betting.

If trying Sky, could also try ESPN who have some live games. Expansion into world sports could be massive if they are interested.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, and always happy to hear more if inspiration strikes. :D Obviously we're exploring various avenues, will see what these bring in the next few weeks.

TCF, what's this eppidrone thing, and any chance of a link? That's a new one on me. :?

Took me a while to find that, only seen it once.. but was invited, and pretty sure it's betting on many a different thing, sponsored by Telegraph so of course related to Fantasy Football in that sense.. looks like the punters have got a bit of money on it, £50 stakes etc...

Best to keep your options open, hope the site doesn't cost too much to run when it's not live. :(

does it cost much more to run it live than to have it just open anyway?

Hi Chris,

Even running a free game would cost because you have to pay for the live feed from PA Sport. Not that that's extortionate, but we've decided just to leave things completely closed for now while we look at the various options.

Ubecha.com
How about joing the weekly games on ubecha.com

The league needs players !!
bad points -
no multi entries, no live scoring, more complicated points, few entries.
good points -
err , its weekly !!

10% taken out pot ( i think ?? ) by the site.

just look up private games and join the one for gameweek 2

stakesy, get something going !

cheers, steve - fat freddys

Archiving it off hardly helps its chances of getting back up and running does it?

I'd vote to get it back it back on the list to keep it in peoples minds.

http://www.beatbarry.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; are advertising on facebook. If it can work for them, hopefully it can work for a game with a following already.
