Had Falcao in a couple out of many at the start then had him out when he got the hattrick though brought him in 2% that didn't have Messi to balance the goals he got. Difficult to differentiate between seasonal and monthly teams as in the first (2)monthly they are season eligible so has stopped me going as strong at the monthly.

He was a nailed-on pick in my eyes at 9m. 3rd best striker in La Liga and in shit hot form for a while now.

Messi will probably score 50-75pts more than Falcao (laterally thinking) but will those points be enough for a one-man team?

If Falcao keeps 70% pace with Messi then reconsidering seems worthwhile as it is Messi looked the standout option statswise so didn't overly consider the other Europeans except Falcao as the main value option.

Interesting (and surprising) Falcao is in less than 1% of teams.

Wonder if this will change once people realise who he is after tonight's massacre?

Also, will people be reluctant to play again once they see a leaderboard crammed with monthly attempts where a whole 30 transfers can be used up?

Some of the best seasonals will be over 100 behind by the end of September, the average team might be 150-200 behind.

Not encouraging for the game, many will lose interest quickly.

Good if you know the craic though.

His next game is home to Rayo Vallecano and they don't detail the fixtures in advance probably due to the television schedule so no way of knowing the exact day.He scored 1 and assisted 1 in the corresponding fixture last year while Michu was playing in the opposition. Then again his next game is Columbia v Chile on the 11th first.

Yes was originally Betis next but is postponed.

Did you watch the game tonight? 2 trebles in a week isn't bad going for a 9m striker, he's in for a great season.

Yes he may have improved on last season. If he continues anything like that he has.

Log-in not possible at the moment - enter username and password, press submit just clears the field back to blank. Have phoned helpdesk and they've tried as well, sure enough same thing happening at their end so it's not just my problem/browsers etc. Not hugely urgent at the moment but will be come saturday morning if not sorted.....

Blimey - quite a quick response!

"Dear Mr King

The issue with the log in is currently been looked into by Betway and will be fixed as soon as possible.

Daily Mirror Football"

Would have thought it was a gfm problem but apparently not - anyway at least they are aware of it.
