In other news, Dream Team Weekly is back and better than ever this season. Watch this space as it’s landing soon.

Are they waiting until Sturridge and Wilshere are fit before the weekly game can start?

I can understand that, many might be deterred from entering or think its a lottery.
I know i swerved in its old format.

That said. it was fine as it was last season.
it was fine the other season in the format that Jeff continues to use.

I bet it doesn't start this week meaning with the International break coming up we will have to wait two and a half weeks for a go and that will be a month and 4 days since we were told it would start. To be honest I would have got nowhere near this week with Wilson and Defoe scoring hat tricks but an attempt would be nice. The thing is I never fancy my chances in the Seasonal but for some reason I feel like I have a squeak in the Weeklies and would like to be given a chance to have a go. So I guess if it isn't up and running by tomorrow that is it for another week :(

Hi David, thanks for your note.

The focus of the last two weeks has been on improvements to mobile performance with a host of changes taking place with our suppliers IT infrastructure to cope with the volumes.

On top of that development of Weekly has been ongoing although has been majorly impacted by our efforts to regain site stability. I will communicate when we have a date for launch set but I would not expect this week.

A host of bug fixes also remain in the pipeline awaiting a safe time to release to live. Expect that to be before the weekend and will include ratings page on mobile.

Ratings is quite a complex piece as I am sure you are aware and we have an investigation underway into the discrepencies with an eye to improvements being rolled out for the resumption of the Premier League on Sep 12.

With regards to site layout I have reviewed the UX on Teams page and we will look to improve this as soon as we can. Apologies if you feel it has gone backwards but the site was tested a number of times with DT players and it was generally well received

Thanks

David Watkins

Was thinking about this, 1 team each which means 1/5 of the entries from last season. What was the average entry last season 10k?

So potentially 2000 entries and they pay out on the top 100.

Most weeks see 6 or 7 teams play twice, depending on who plays who you could probably say most of the 2k will be based on 4 or 5 teams so at the most your chosen block would be up against 500 blocks the same.

So get the right block and there will be a reasonable chance of getting in the money

Do we reckon there will be more Club Memberships than Sun+?
i.e. £8 v £20 is more appealing (or low enough that someone wont get round to cancelling)?
Will the average punter be that arsed though in these side games?

Based on your figures Ronny, that's a 20 strong BBM taking up 1% of the entire field 8-)

We aren't bothering this season with just the one team Dave.

Zim you may be right, there could be more based on the lower fee's. We may find out one day!

The longer it gets delayed the less entrants there will be as more people will have given up on their teams and forgotten about it

I hope for every week they postpone the weekly game that they keep rolling the money over. say it doesn't start until the 5th week after it was supposed to, the jackpot would be £10k 8-) and anyone in top 100 could quadruple their dosh in that 1st week. hopefully next season they get rid of this crappy mini cup £50 or £25 prize (or whatever it is) which will then bump the weekly and monthly prize. only 1 team is a bit of a lottery compared to the 5 last season. gonna have to get the defensive 5 blocks spot on or you got no chance. I got a feeling us on fiso will dominate the weeklys this season :)

I spoke to them earlier on the phone because after the last couple of weeks on live chat trying to get them knob cheeses to correct my membership and a refund.

I did ask about what is going on with the weekly game and the superviser did say they were still having technical issues because they have been putting all of thier efforts into the mini leagues so this is why the weekly game have been affected.

He did inform me ( I must say not with very much confident ) that the weekly will now begin after the international break. Also was was told that the monthly tables should start appearing after the end of this month.

So the transfer window closes and the weekly game starts on the same week. Seems a good idea. Sure Saturday will go well.

Having to hassle them for prize money is inevitable but a nice problem to have. Well, maybe not for £25 - might cost more than that in phone calls!
