so this season we are getting 50k entries, if I remember rightly we did well to get 10k entries each week last season and that was when we all had 5 teams (2000 individual entries).

Thats a huge leap in numbers! so whats the attraction? more prizes even though they are poxy amounts? better advertising? better seasonal costs compared to sun+ last season meaning more prepared to pay for the whole season?

Maybe its the fact you only have to enter 1 team, perhaps some couldn't be bothered to enter 5 and were put off!!!!!!

We could have used the new cup game as a reason but as entries actually have gone up since last week that wouldn't make sense as if was the case entries should have dropped as people were knocked out!!

Yeah, I remember they listed in the top right corner the exact number of entries last season and it went down week after week, only spiking back up for the international weeks, can't believe there are now 5 times as many people entering weekly, very strange, are these numbers really accurate?

I think it is because many people are now so far behind in the seasonal, they have given up and are now trying the weekly as a last roll of the dice.

its actually 25 times the amount of entries as we had 5 teams each last season

That was included in the total number though, if it said 10,000 entries for example that would have included the 5 team entries per player, it wasn't a figure for one team per player.
