Week 24
So what did we all decide to do for week 24?
Think I could be propping the leaderboard with a West Ham defence, but hopefully will be fighting at the other end with a WBA semi and Berahino.

A lot will depend this week on how Liverpool fair in their 2 games.
Not a bad start had some Ideye Brown coverage.

I made a schoolboy error in believing Ideye was not in the game and was hoping he would score and get MOTM as it would be irrelevant..

Re: Week 24
By PAUL JIGGINS
MARIO BALOTELLI kept alive Steven Gerrard’s dream of an FA Cup farewell by inspiring Liverpool’s second-half comeback at Selhurst Park.
The Kop were trailing in this fifth round clash to Fraizer Campbell’s opener for Palace when Balotelli was sent on as a half-time sub for Lazar Markovic.
And the Italian’s introduction helped Brendan Rodgers’ men turn this tie on its head thanks to goals from Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana.
Rodgers sent on Balotelli during the break in the hope he could repeat his match-winning heroics against Tottenham last Tuesday.
And it had the desired effect as the Kop levelled four minutes into the second half when stand-in skipper Henderson crossed for Sturridge to volley in, despite Speroni’s best efforts.
But the Palace keeper was at fault for Liverpool’s second in the 58th minute when he failed to hold Balotelli’s free kick allowing Lallana to lash home the rebound for the clincher.

Referee: Robert Madley.
Obviously Ballotelli wasn't that inspirational or maybe the Ratings were once again, jigged around but, NOT BY THE MATCH REPORTER.
If the ratings were given by Paul Jiggins, why wax lyrical about Ballotelli and then only give him a 6????

At least we now have consistency, De Gea was also picked out by the match reporter last week and then awarded a 6.

Low scoring week, I've got 3 in the top 156 (31-37points) all needing some Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool points in their games.

I was under the impression that Moreno had picked up 2 yellows in the group stage so missed the next match but it appears you can pick up a zillion yellows now and not get a ban and they are all forgotten about if you reach the semi, so you don't miss a finalZimmerman wrote:You sure?sleuth wrote:you know Moreno is banned for Thursday right.Jagduracell wrote:Not quite, Blind and the rest of the Liverpool back four, Henderson, Sterling and Eriksen, Sturridge, and KaneAshers wrote:That could stand you in stead.Jagduracell wrote:Just the one Ideye with a load of Liverpool players
