Re: Week 9
I can't believe Aguero and Pelle both bombed. At least I got Sanchez right, and the League Cup being the 4th round Ageuro and Pelle might actually play. Today I need something from Erikson, Barkley and Hazard.
Hows everyone else doing?

Re: Week 9
With this weekly comp I don't think the Sun will give ratings to a full block now, I had 4 blocks yesterday all with only 2 or 3 ratings(7+).
I need Erikson, lamela, Hazard, Kane (if he plays) and Fabregas to play up today.

Re: Week 9
Best team in 11th (74 points) with Hazard to play. Aguero not getting anything was annoying, hopefully he gets some time midweek (I doubt it though).
I do have a team on only 3 points though

This post is SO fiso. When a player does well, the fiso poster got it right. When a player fails, the emphasis is solely on the player.grizzler wrote:I can't believe Aguero and Pelle both bombed. At least I got Sanchez right

53 my best with all to play in midweek. Could struggle to be top 100 this week (not that you win owt for that these days) as I have been the last 5 weeks.

Re: Week 9
CONGRATS STRIKER!
And i do mean congrats, but i think you shud be sending a chunk of your cheque up to the merseyside Sun reporter Phil Thomas, who yet again gave completely bent and over generous marks to the whole of the SWANSEA team in their DEFEAT at Anfield.
Just one Swansea defender not getting a merit mark in that game would of resulted in you missing out on 5 bags.
But i do genuinly mean congrats mate well done.

Re: Week 9
Cheers guys.
You're right dot, your friend Phil Thomas and the other reporters' player marks were very kind to myself, it was almost as though I'd been allowed to do the markings myself. While luck is always the most important factor in seasonal fantasy games, and anyone who doesn't recognise this is an idiot, in any weekly game it's about the only thing that matters. This is especially the case in the Sun game where everyone will be making most of their selections from the same small group of players (Chelsea and Arsenal this week). So it's basically a lottery. But at least the Sun run the most valuable, and therefore the best, weekly lottery. Don't think that I'll be cancelling my Sun+ membership anytime soon.
Mind you the Sun did owe me £4500 that Mertesacker's 30 second cameo in the World Cup Final cost me, due to their eccentric scoring system.
