Well played Lee. I thought it was all over after the weekends games but, as you say, Hazard was very close to stealing me a last minute win in the end.
Massive game against Woody coming up.

Before the Wednesday matches I was 11pts behind Blade. With Mane and Moura both starting I thought I might just nick it, but then Hazard happened!!
Well played Blademan. A tiny Llama coming up next.

58pts was not a bad score from me, but Llama still brushed me aside. Well played!!
I’ll post the table up later even though it’s painful for me to look at!!

2 former championship teams face other.
Madchester faces a tough test in 2nd placed Gutty.
Myself and Mad desperately need a win to go into the international break with.

Re: FISO H2H PREMIER LEAGUE - SEASON 3
Some very close matches this week. 3 matches decided by 3pts or less.
It’s worth mentioning that the top two highest scores of the week were recorded by myself and Mad (in the bottom 2)with 53 and 52 scored.
The bottom pairing of Madchester and myself got much needed victories over Gutty and WNP respectively. Unfortunately due to other results still prop up the prem table.
Blademan’s hard fought victory over CBN has sent him 4pts clear of 2nd placed Gutty.
Former Championship promotion rivals faced each other in a very tight encounter with EPG edging out Llama by a single point.
Mad dogs victory over Lee leaves Lee at the mercy of the bottom two.
Just 3pts the difference between 3rd and 10th place. At the end of GW9 everyone will have played each other.

Yeah, please do, woody.
A one point loss to EPG this week was hard to take
I need the international break now to recover.

Re: FISO H2H PREMIER LEAGUE - SEASON 3
The highest scorer of the week is Lee who edges out bottom placed Madchester by just 6pts.
1st played 2nd this week with Gutty beating Blademan quite convincingly due to Blademan recording the lowest score of the week with just 69. Blademan's lead is now trimmed down to just a point.
After two straight defeats CBN claims victory over Llama, and with it being his second defeat in a row he slips down the table to 7th.
WNP beats EPG to end EPG's good run of form.
It's unfortunate for me that i have to mention my defeat to Mad Dog by just 11pts. I was clearly up against a team in form as he is now in 3rd spot with 3 wins in a row. I'll say no more as i'm sure he'll tell us all about it in the posts that follow
Next weeks fixtures see top of the table Blademan playing struggling Madchester, Mad Dog has EPG, i'm really struggling and i play Lee, CBN plays WNP, and Gutty faces Llama.

Re: FISO H2H PREMIER LEAGUE - SEASON 3
It's suddenly all looking a bit bleak again
Such a tight league - a couple of defeats on the trot and you're looking at those relegation places.
Long way to go. Need to beat Gutty this week to turn the ship back around.

Re: FISO H2H PREMIER LEAGUE - SEASON 3
I’d love to act all nonchalant and make out I’m not bothered but I am proper trying though Dan. Just having a very average seasonal campaign at mo (best is 588) . It’s backfired that I put the same crappy team in all the comps elite, H2H, big balls etc but that’s always the danger going all in. Tbf the team looks decentish now so hopefully I can climb the table in H2H though conceding the most points so far hasn’t helped. Noticed you’ve won 3 in a row
Love this league as it’s so unforgiving; even when you have a good scoring week, chances are your high class opponent probably has too (well played Lee). I think it will be tight from top to bottom at the end and 3 relegated from just 10 teams makes it a challenge just to stay up
Great write ups woody

Re: FISO H2H PREMIER LEAGUE - SEASON 3
Blademan suffers his 2nd thrashing in a row as struggling Madchester who was the top scorer this week won 59-31. Blademan is still in prime position being joint top, so with 3 new transfers to burn he could easily stop his bad run of form. Madchester moves off the bottom at last.
Gutty now finds himself just a point off top but couldn't squeeze past Llama as he is beaten 35-31. Llama jumps up 2 places to 5th.
The battle of mid-tablers ends in WNP beating CBN quite comfortably 47-31.
Lee was right to be worried but it wasn't all plain sailing for my team this week. I scrape through by 6pts and move up one place to 8th.
As Madchester said last week this league is becoming tough, you can win quite convincingly one week and then get beat the week after. There's just 7pts that separate top to bottom and after 10 gameweeks that's not much of a difference.
There's some interesting fixtures in GW11. Myself and Madchester go head to head, and for the first time in a few weeks i won't have to put the words struggling or bottom of table in front of one of our names. Blademan faces Llama to see if he can end his bad run of form.
Lee and EPG have to see if they can bounce back after both suffering defeats in GW10. Gutty faces WNP knowing that a win and other results going in his favour mean he would top the table. Can Mad Dog make it five in a row vs CBN. CBN not really hitting the heights of last season yet but a win against Mad Dog would cheer him up.
