Re: The Nags Head Gold Cup (£100)
At the current rate of fallers this won't last until the end of the season! So I've just paypalled you the £100 prize money Zim so that you can send out when it's won.
Good luck to all still running

Re: The Nags Head Gold Cup (£100)
Fence 5 Target 75
13 horses approached the fence... only 8 made it.
cclem very unfortunate and must have had his hooves clipped by one of the other fallers
Fallers
cclem345 74
superiorpinkham 66
Rick 65
MrTomRipley 62
Silkypikeke 53
Fence 6 should be easier... a mere 35 the target (what will the cup lottery serve up though)

Phew! I'm so glad that you didn't go with your initial target for this fence of 80 points, Zimm. I'd have been sunk!

Agree jeff, 8 of us left, this 35 could be pretty easy or very difficult depending on line ups today and cup semis !!

Fence 6
Only three horses failed to make the target, but they were all previous fallers (Ashers, Blademan and Wolviebob) so the 8 horses plough on to Fence 7 (with a target of 40).

Fence 7
Only one faller, Jimmy Tarbucks' Tiger 3 only managed 28 and came crashing through the fence, belly first.
Fence 8 has another target of 40. With three of the Big 6 in action midweek... make that 2 of the Big 5 plus Arsenal in action midweek, 40 should be a doddle.

Fence 8
As anticipated, the 40 point target proved no obstacle for our thoroughbreds as they all cleared it.
Fence 9 Target 65
This might prove more challenging, but with potential double fixtures for a lot of the players, it should still be a doddle (shouldn't it)?

Re: The Nags Head Gold Cup (£100)
Could be seeing a few fallers at Fence 10. 40 was the target;
Mad Dog 53
jonwebb76 47
leethomas 47
llama 40 D Sanchez / Alli / Kane you assume not even Davison could blow this for Llama
------------------------------------
TheBigLewandowski 38 - Vertonghen / Kane
Walter Bishop 28 - Eriksen / Kane
jeffmcgow 27 - Kane
will come down to Pocc fielding a strong team (or not).

Re: The Nags Head Gold Cup (£100)
Looks like I should scrape through. Hopefully.
I was so close to bringing in Mkhitaryan this week. For some reason I can't explain I decided to go with Alli instead.
That decision has cost me 15 points so far and most likely my FA Cup tie in the Elite League.
Need Alli to start (and perform) midweek or it's been a bit of disaster.

Oh No
My Interest in the game for this Year is pretty much over, barring a Weekly Wonder. Didn't ship Salah back in for Eriksen, thought EriK might get the Points for me in the Two Games.
Thanks again Zimm and Simon and Good Luck to the Last few Runners

Re: The Nags Head Gold Cup (£100)
There was no miracle from the Hotspur whites and the 10th claimed 3 horses.
Had we all been racing still, 17/44 would have fallen at this beastly fence.
Fallers
TheBigLewandowski 38
Walter Bishop 31
jeffmcgow 27
So we're down to the final 4 and Fence 11 with a target of 50
Good Luck Mad Dog, jonwebb76, leethomas and Llama

Will check the riders later.
38/44* scores 100+ though.
Kudos to Ronny who scored 184 in a week
* We seem to have inherited 5 new teams (A. Othman)... he might just be a bogus account Plevna has entered to take the focus away from him

Re: The Nags Head Gold Cup (£100)
Fence 11 didn't even make our horses break stride. The 50 target was comfortably smashed by all. On to Fence 12 and the target of 40 (fa cup lottery and a couple of european games too).

Fence 12
Congratulations to Jonwebb76... he skims the fence with just a horse shoe's clearance, but its enough to win him the race as the other 3 all take a tumble.
Well done Jon (£75 coming your way).

Fallers
Mad Dog 26
leethomas 25
llama 22
Jon Webb Progress
Fence 13 40 cleared (52)
Fence 14 50 cleared (62)
Fence 15 45 fell (23)
