FA Cup
And so we have our show-piece final. The winner will take home £170. The loser just £24. Go big or go home
The final is at a neutral venue so a replay if a draw
Good luck both.

Be happy with top ten, be even happier with top six.
Title looks like a one horse race although one or two will still fancy their chances maybe?

John Morrison Elite League
- 1st = 50% of entries = £590
- 2nd = 25% of entries = £295
- Winner of 3rd-6th place play off = 10% of entries = £118
I'm planning a late surge in the JMEL
Have you decided on the format of the 3rd place playoff, Simon?
(Sorry if it's been discussed already and I've missed it )

Re: JOHN MORRISON ELITE LEAGUE 2017-18
Yes play-offs will be:
- Pick a six aside team from players in the CL league final (1-2-2-1 formation)
- I will do scoring based on the Sun's system
- Tie-breaker will be minute of last goal
I will mail all in with a shout of the play-offs (assuming Liverpool are in the CL final) to request their entries.

Re: JOHN MORRISON ELITE LEAGUE 2017-18
Trophy has arrived
With thanks to the generosity of Lee Thomas' sponsorship we now have the Elite League trophy to commemorate the tenth year of competition. It is magnificent - some photos below. Hopefully it generates even higher entry levels in next year's competition.

Re: JOHN MORRISON ELITE LEAGUE 2017-18
Absolutely brilliant - a great effort and fantastic generosity regarding sponsorship etc
My debut season this year and I'm absolutely gutted , I'm currently sitting in 27th position, just as we edged into the new year I was adamant Salah would stop firing, I convinced myself I'd go hard or go home, sitting in about 10th I came up with a cunning plan to go against the grain and drop Salah and Kane ( didn't do it in any of my other teams )..........The End.
Nah on a serious note I've absolutely loved the league, side games and cups etc, added a lot more interest than my local mini leagues, I've got 3 inside the top 300 and with 1 or 2 transfers swinging the other way it could have been very different - slight progress from last year
Thanks again CBN and all sponsors this year - spot on and great job honestly
Oh and fingers crossed in the last few weeks, good luck to all cashing in
