Wakey, wakey, folks!

Another week, another 10 games over a full 10 flanges. One cull only. Don't let it be you.

Aardvark was top scorer last time out but is currently co-last with MorganL-B on 14. Not so much Changing Rooms as Changing Fortunes (I used to watch that back in the day. Or was it Family Rooms?)

Long way to go but with most big hitters already in action those of us on 37 on more are feeling smug.

I could certainly do with asking a survey of one hundred people, how should you adjust your Highlander strategy in the season like this.

Well, do you want your strategy to involve a last ditch switch to any of this lot?

West Brom17:30Burnley

Leeds20:00Wolves

Actually some good enabler options there but maybe not the big points you may - or may not - need.

As game 6 rolls towards a close Ardvaaark has crawled up to 20 leaving MorganB facing doom on 16 and dragging spiny's 17 into the mix. Theo21 also providing a slight buffer to jamjack fretting away on 22.

Next question. Who has how many Spuds and how will they score?

EDIT Palace concede near the end and Aardvark tumbles....

Would it be possible to somehow indicate on the list of teams in the 28th August post which ones have been culled? I can then toggle between that list and the weekly table to see which teams below me are still in. Thanks

You appear to have dragged yourself out of it. Theo22 has some dragging to do.

Just thinking the huge weekly variation in scorers seen thus far could be really tough on transfers in this game. That said the live league updates will offset some of that!

Now we have live in-game updates I wonder if in-game transfers is the natural progress from this?

Who knows. I know a lot of players (on here) don't like inter-flange transfers but I, and many others, do and it is one big differential selling point it could use to attract new players away from FPL. Much more interactive and hands on over the weekend. So, yes, why not exploit/extrapolate that going forward???

Would be a transfer destroyer in this though

Will there be a week 38 reanimation? If so simply drop out early, keep a load of transfer for that and the subsequent 2 weeks. Job done!

No time for a proper table now (going out soon) maybe this evening??

22 Theo29
27 robot
29 tbf
31 blah
33 MorganB
35-38 (5 teams)
39-56 murf and others
66 MagicISay
(shalhassan's wee free men on 33 are the lowest 'irrelevant' zombie team - til next week when the first Zombie Off occurs)

Didn't look like there was much movement after the first game but theo has done some last minute moving and Robot looks in trouble with Leeds and Wolves goalless.

All subject to goal and point updates....

I am beginning to believe the strain of being in this competition will be impossible to bear for too long. I am preparing to use all my transfers by Christmas in my role as a LMM as dubbed by the organiser. The sight of robot earlier this week shows what can happen !

20 minutes in and it is 0-0.

Plenty of even numbers on the scoreboard with all from 0-10 covered. New normal? Well, it isn't odd....

3 of those on 0 are in the Zombie Off so twopointterry is on target for resuscitation.

CULL 5, DAY 1 SCORES

Just the one game but theobamford has his feet up already - not exactly last minute this week. Some of us will only wake up and start today.

HighaFour05a.png

ZOMBIE REANIMATION 1, DAY 1 SCORES

So who is madly hammering at the pub door that we have piled loads of tables against? Well, nobody really. Think I only heard one faint tap.....

CULL 5, DAY 2 SCORES

Half way and still some half arsed scoring from a few teams including mine. The bottom two have player based team names - must be this week's curse but who will need the Pickfords removal van to move them out of the league after monday?

HighaFour05b.png

ZOMBIE REANIMATION 1, DAY 2 SCORES

Still no mad hammering at the pub door that we have piled loads of tables against. The Wee Free Men are just first in line without putting that much effort in. Yet?

2 more games down and Martial is stranded atvthe bottom on 6. The pack move slowly ahead with Chilwell stranded on 9.

I've crawled up to 16 which is, hopefully, just a start.

Next Arsenal and Leicester. Few more points there for some....

Just excel spreadsheets copied into paint(?) and then saved as PNG files (I think).

When I try and c'n'p the data into Excel it all drops into column 1 and it's too much of a faff to reformat it all.

Yes. I spend ages doing a basic transfer thing to copy it into a sensible order.
You can do a column 2 which just reads column 1 (cell B1 is just "=A1" etc) then manually move those cells individually from column 2 to a sensible layout. Pain in the arse to set up but should then work 'automatically' each time you paste a new set to column 1.

There is probably a clever way of doing it but I stuck with what I knew and it worked, albeit took a while to set up.
