29 points...I’m almost emabarassed. The throwing cards into a hat game is so addictive I became distracted

I would echo Robots sage advice though (whilst I move the hat another 2 foot further away and try my luck again).

The trick with the cards game is to not take them out of their box first!

That’s the sh@t or bust version of the game. Bit like my Highlander team by the looks of things

No! Was hoping to survive without transferring so please stop encouraging them to get points. Just bought 3 Cardiff defenders for my FISO 500 team. Don't want to have to wreck this one as well!

I see our 3 on 34 became 3 on 36. Crawling slowly up to biting distance of those with their bottoms dangling just above....

Well I'm gambling on no transfers and nobody playing tonight so my score of 49 is your target.

CULL 4, WEEK 1, DAY 1SCORES

Close.

No Murrays or Arnautovic's then.....

(Arnautovic was booked. I suppose theoretically morganb could have him and another 1 pointer, don't think there were any -1s so nobody else has him)

CULL 4, WEEK 1, DAY 2 SCORES

No time for a formal update but, with just 3 games to go, the border between immunity and two weeks of sweaty bumness is being straddled by teams on just 15 points.

Good job there are plenty of popular picks getting their boots dirty today.

One good thing about not transferring as normal..... you end up keeping players like Aubameyang and so still have them when they finally come good.

Indeed! In fact I'd completely lost track here and thought this week was week 2 of the last cull, and so I was safe   Aubameyang has certainly helped... and of course I've just made a few cheeky transfers ahead of the Citeh/Liverpool match  Not sure whether that's going to be enough...

53pts needed for immunity. I got 60 so will be resting a few after the international break.

So, how we doing? Ah yes, blessed immunity, the international break will stretch on an extra week. Think I'll be on a deckchair in the Maldives. You?

Shall I throw first?

I bet Vid is glad of his immunity with Chelsea letting 2 in before 3pm saturday. Both of us wasting a rare Rudiger goal though....

With this, FISO 500 being out of transfers and FISO 2019 not starting yet, I've only got 4 active teams this weekend. Probably a good thing with post internationals injury rumours and rests.

CULL 4, WEEK 2, DAY 2 SCORES

It seems like there have been a lot of us distracted by top hats and playing cards this week - the lowest 7 scores showing on the table (20-34) belonging to teams not up for a bout of culling (already culled or safe). That leaves poor Erry whose Ten Pints have probably been his distraction this week. Can he sober up enough to get some points from tonight's final fixture???? and who to go for anyway - Leicester or Arsenal?? Those on 48 probably feel safe but probably not a feeling shared by those on 40-44. Hmm. Bum. Squeak.

17 of us stand our pins back up today to await the weekend's bowling ball of fate. The bottom 9 will stand and quiver waiting for next week's strike.

I see one team had double figure scores today from Salah, Mane AND Wilson.

Shame it was Terry who got culled last weekend.

Timing eh?

Ouch.

Tonight’s match has the potential to create quite a swing in the points haul depending on the way it plays out. I don’t think I’ll add to my 10 city and spurs players though ...ahem....

CULL 5, WEEK 1, DAY 2 SCORES

Well here are the scores with 1 game to go... but what a big game.... Spurs and Man City. Will Arry blow the doors off your Citeh defenders and hence your immunity hopes? 38 is safe at the moment but will the leading 53 even be enough??

See you on the other side....

Very. Think your 49 claimed the final immunity spot. Big 'unlucky' shout to nffc who turned his last place 22 into a very near missing 48. Ouch.

All to be confirmed tomorrow....
