Re: ** murf's FISO TFF Highlander Killer Cup league 2018/19 **
I’ve not made one transfer in an attempt to either make the cut or avoid being culled as my team is reasonably well placed in a cash league and I’m concentrating on that.
God knows how I’m still in this.

Any correlation between weekly position and number of Liverpool defenders?

Yes, a very simple strategy for this team - only choose players from three teams Didn't realise it was public btw... it's not now

I figured you were either very confident or hadn’t realised. I spent the first 3 weeks in my super league this year with my knickers showing by mistake.

Need Liverpool to concede or I am down and out!
On second thoughts I am 21 points behind the nearest rival - so I think it might be time to fall on my sword and roll down the moral hill.

CULL 13, WEEK 2, DAY 3 SCORES
Is primitive man really 21 points behind with no Liverpool to come? Midweek scores would suggest this is no bluff but there must be some cards left to play up his sleeve (or do I go with 'up his sporran' for a Highlander reference?)

Well if I buy pool defenders I am just going to keep up 21 points behind so have to try something else.
1st roll of dice hasn't come off put in Ben C when initially drafted Deeney but put trust in BR managerial skills

An Everton gamble would seem logical and/or gamble on both sides scoring. Origi and Mane? No CSs yet today.primitive man wrote:Well if I buy pool defenders I am just going to keep up 21 points behind so have to try something else.

Strange week with such a gap. I'm even throwing cards into a hat when I'm in the cull group.

Not much point - now that Alonso and Luiz did not play. Pogbas penalty miss yesterday was also costly. Cant see Everton keeping a clean sheet (ever!)

Well, that was closer than I though it would be but ultimately distinctly lacking in cigars for primitive man.

Got a lot closer than I expected! Did worse this season with a dedicated team than last year with a recycled effort. Aimed to get to the weekly battlefield stage!

The weekly battlefield can't be far off but another 2-weeker looms to take us up to the international break. 8 left. 4 immunities. 4 to fight.
(I'll work the timetable out. Stay tuned)

A brief look at my team and remaining transfers makes me feel that I’m pretty bloody unlikely to reach the weekly battlefield. Actually I’m just pretty bloody - it’s been brutal.

CULL 14, WEEK 1, FINAL SCORES
So a standard week of 10 league games and a standard cut of half through and half out with no ties.
So who got the sub-standard scores? Well it is the 4 who have to slug it out over a strange league/cup combo weekend.

Another close one - a symptom of low transfer counts?
After the infernal break we will be back with the last ever (this year) immunity week. 3 spots available.

One game left and most are you are within 8 points of that nasty line. Aubamagambles on that final immunity of the season anyone, or a bit of Rafatation of cheap defenders?

Must all be low on transfers with only robot scoring any points last night - his 4 not enough to affect anything though. The 4 in red above fight to avoid the cull starting tonight. Then single week, one death per week, culls from hereon in.

Looking forward to this. Wish my team looked a bit better! Comes with the territory with this game though, I’m sure my transfers all made sense at the time
