I'll be honest; having spent >£100m over the summer I was kind of hoping Fulham would be able to keep at least one clean sheet this season

From 31st August...
Really liking my Wolves block atm!! Could have been even better if I had gone 5 at the back!!thebillfella wrote: ↑31 Aug 2018, 16:31 GW3 update
Last year's winner Spinynorman may be regretting changing to Man Utd block with the 1st pick this season based on performances so far, currently sitting in 17th position above 3rd pick bigbaddod's Spurs block in 18th, the much fancied Wolves block of Mintman in 19th position (5th pick) and sibrown4's last pick Huddersfield block rooted to the foot of the table.
All early days however; a marathon not a sprint etc etc...

Re: Block League - Year 9
Always go for that back 5. If you are going to do well, you do that bit better. If you do badly who cares..... Had 5 in my Palace block til Schlupp got dropped. Back yesterday though but not into my team. Yet.

I'm going the other way and sticking with the ones who are not starting to minimise the number of negative points!

At this rate getting 1 point each per game from this block will be a bonus

Re: Block League - Year 9
Amazing how a run of 2 or 3 CSs (or non-CSs in my case) can shake this up.
My Palace block was 3rd, now down to 9th Sort it out chaps!

And they have sorted it out. A couple of CSs and I'm back to 4th.murf wrote:Amazing how a run of 2 or 3 CSs (or non-CSs in my case) can shake this up.

City clean up again.
I had 12th pick
Have a good summer and hopefully, we’ll all go again in July.

Re: Block League - Year 9
Well played Maldini.
I had 10th pick and obviously avoided those expensive rotatables. At least I 'climbed' 3 places to 7th.

Re: Block League - Year 9
City and Liverpool top two here as well. Well done Maldini.
I've fallen out of love with TFF of late (still loads of transfers left over), so unlikely to be continuing this next year personally. Seems a popular game though so looking for someone to take over running it next year.

Cheers lads.
Has your indifference towards TFF got anything to do with having to fill your teams with City & Liverpool players?

It certainly doesn't help - at least with FPL I can only do a maximum of three from each!

Re: Block League - Year 9
If folks don't mind not having any state of the art charts or stats and the possibility of me wittering on about rubbish I don't mind taking the league on.
That is of course providing Maldini doesn't want to give it a go.

Re: Block League - Year 9
With this being relatively low maintenance when the season starts, I'd be ok to run if none of the prior chairmen want to.
