My message to UPS and ADK still sits in my outbox 3 days later - after Geoffv has chosen we'll have to make the call about how long they get. Maybe we let Mintman go next and then first come first served for the last spot - views?
Agree - is Murf still waiting in the wings to take a spot?

Not really got time to research other teams fully but if it gets to the end of the week I'll take the 20th team to make it neat. Leave it open for now as I'll happily let someone else have the spot

Thanks for the reminder. Which three teams are left. Which one of the trio with holes as many as in Blackburn Lancashire between Watford, Villa and Norwich. Well I can't go for the latter as they put my team out in the play off final. I can't choose Watford either as they are my closest team and will leak goals for sure. So

1.Wiseowl- West Brom
2.Neath Boy - Chelsea
3.Thebillfella - Southampton
4.Jag-West Ham
5.The Dude Abides- Swansea
6.Nffc - Arsenal
7.Wilbert -Liverpool
8.Zipnolan - Palace
9.Alchemist - Sunderland
10.Wizzardoffire - Everton
11.Suprised - Bournemouth
12.Mystery - Spurs
13.Maldini - Manchester City
14.Robot - Manchester Utd
15.Spinynorman - Stoke
16.Ups -
17.Workie-Ticket - Newcastle
18.Ashers - Leicester
19.ADK -
20.Geoffv - Aston Villa

Had a response fro ADK saying he is pulling out this year so Mintman you can take his place and go when ready. Still nothing from UPS so suggest that if we haven't heard from him by say 2pm that Murf can step in (or A.N.Other if there is desire from elsewhere).

To open this years debate - which team choice position has surprised you the most this year? and why...

For me its West Ham at (technically 16th Pick)

Were solid year before last, and had they stuck with the same Goalkeeper throughout would would have been a very good choice. I took them to 5th place and I frankly am useless.....

I thought Leicester would have been higher up. Cheap defenders who are all capable of goals/assists.

Ditto, I'm surprised my non-appearance on the forum for a few days didn't hinder me more. Would have toyed with them even at 4th pick!

As I said previously, United in 14th place was a shock given that they were cheapest of the big 4 by some way and cost roughly the same as Liverpool / Everton / Spurs block but will be far better at the back (IMO) with the Schmidickfield (Copyright thebillfella) in front of them.

While I think they'll do ok and are of course one of the cheapest blocks, but Bournmouth as high as 11th pick surprised me a little as well.

Perhaps the problem with a Manchester United block for those not in the know was the uncertainty regarding who would start.

BUMP

Last call for a new manager to join the league and take the last spot. You get a fortune to spend on your midfield and attack in this game!! because you have to use a Watford defence.
