The first practice round

The Mod team were the first to take to the fairways and were in fine form with 'Spiny' Greg Norman hitting the ball particularly sweetly. Olaza'Karrde'abal, Vidjay Singh and Knulpuk Stenson showed flashes of brilliance and some killer short game shots.

Henrik Spenceson, Miguel Aknel Jiminez and Sur Prised Faldo all scrambled really well with Mysteryama a shade disappointing but all in all the Mods will be happy with the opening day practice round.

The FISO Rockers on the other hand found life a little trickier, TiGiggs Woods was the clear pick of the bunch with some fine approach play

Edullforceo Morrissonali, Forestefan Toledo and Wil Bubbert Watson all spent extra time on the putting green after the round, whilst Rory MurfIlroy, Jack Nickowenclaus and Dude Weekley seemed fairly relaxed with SEve Ballesteros berating his poor performance as he headed back to the driving range to work on his wayward driving.




With the first practice round taken care of and one more still to come, the thorny issue of picking a team Captain raised it's ugly head. The two teams both met up after dinner to discuss who should take on the role with each player getting a vote.......
