Rory MurfIlroy will wear the captains armband for the FISO Rockers with the controversial TiGiggs Woods acting as vice.

The Captains can now start cogitating on who they will pair up in the opening round of matches. They can choose to act unilaterally and make their own decisions, discuss options with the Vice Captain or speak to each individual to see who they would most like to be paired with.

Pairings will need to be pm'd to me by 7pm Wed 27th August and the matches will be announced later that evening.

In the event either Captain fails to send the pm I will contact the Vice Captain to forward team selections

I would like to think all of the matches are for balls. I experimented with using toasters but they don't fit in the holes as well.

If the first practice round belonged to the Mods, the Rockers responded with some sparkling golf in the second and final practice round with Dude Weekley and Edullforceo Morrissonali leading the charge.

Henrik Spenson and Miguel Aknel Jimenez looked completely out of sorts for the Mods and Hideki Mysteryama has some difficult decisions to make and much may depend on his opening ceremony speech to get his team fired up.

Some stunning golf on the opening day morning session from Tigiggs Woods as he reels off a string of birdies and an eagle to win every hole and put his pairing 6up through 6. Playing partner Jack Nickowenclaus was all over the place but that's 4 balls for you.

Rory Murfilroy and Wilbubbert Watson were almost as dominant, leading by 4 after 6. Early birdies from Forestefan Toledo and Dude Weekley were enough to put give FISO a 2 stroke lead in the anchor match.

Things were a little better for the Mods in the lead off group with Jimenez and Norman at least showing a little fight in a ding dong match, even so a bogey at the 6th hole gifted the FISO team a 1 hole lead.


With the Mods down in all 4 matches and the team Captain getting drubbed can they battle back and wipe a little of the blue and yellow off the leaderboard.
