I'm finding it hard to score more than 20pts a week in the lower league games

If there was a prize we'd be pretty much neck and neck. Effin hell, at this rate I'll have 5 of my players dropped next week, and the other 6 suspended.Adidasandahalf wrote:tommymooney wrote:I'm finding it hard to score more than 20pts a week in the lower league games

I've decided I'm relatively happy with my paltry 9 now.
Could do with a Lisbie hattrick in the game going on at the moment
0-1 Ipswich by the way - Counago(-)

I'm rather enjoying the Championship one. 23rd in FISO, 2488 overall, 124 points. I'm a lot better at it than 'proper' TFF!
After a disaster of a start in L1, I got transfer happy, and 44 points this GW means I've gone to 100, which is alright given such a rubbish beginning.
93 in L2 isn't anywhere near good enough though. That's got a lot to do with me knowing nothing about football at this level!

from BBC transfer 'banter'
And Everton have apparently had a bid of about £3.5m rejected by Reading for their lively midfielder Stephen Hunt.
exact price in TFF - does Moyes play championship fantasy football

One thing I can't quite fathom is how Eagles got -5 in a nil-nil

Eagles got a Yellow card (-2pts) and then he got a straight Red (-5pts) for foul and abusive language. The only incident of note in a relegation 6 pointer.OscarBravo wrote:I had Eagles, Ledesma and I took Doyle out on Friday, cue hat-trickAdidasandahalf wrote:tommymooney wrote:I'm finding it hard to score more than 20pts a week in the lower league games

Blimey any idea on those assists? Stephen Hunt with 1 goal, Noel with 2, Doyle with 3. Typical the only Reading player I've got is Hahnemann, probably been sitting down half the match.derbynige wrote:doyle 3 swansea equalise

Not that I'm complaining but why on earth has Stephen Hunt got 11 points?
Implies, goal, two assists and a booking.
He didn't score though.
Perhaps I'll just keep quiet about it

He didn't get booked so I assume it was three assists.albanwell wrote:Not that I'm complaining but why on earth has Stephen Hunt got 11 points?

A first win for Argyle last night having looked woeful for the first 5 games. After Saturday's abysmal display against Norwich, Luggy rang the changes and went back to what Argyle do best, no nonsense hard work. More performances like that and we might just stay up.

Re: Championship Pub Match Day Banter 08/09 (Goals & Assists)
Can anyone clear me up on this
Player A takes a free kick and someone outside the box handballs it, the freekick is taken by Player B and goes straight in. Does player A get the assist? If that makes any sense. Ladesma is player A and Rowlands is player B by the way.

What a horrible day. (edit: just made even worse by Wolves conceding that late penalty!)
Can't see too many high scoring teams except the ones with Iwelumo (although he will miss the next three) and Charlton / Norwich defenders and Ward who continues to rack up the points for Cov.

Doyle also scored and Stephen Hunt (Championship Ronaldo) has scored another.
Reading just look incredible going forward this year and Noel Hunt looks the real deal and at 1.2m less than Doyle he might be another option to those looking to load up on Reading attacking players.

Re: Championship Pub Match Day Banter 08/09 (Goals & Assists)
The cliched `game of two halves' at Ashton Gate.
Argyle totally dominant in the first half, and deservedly 2-0 up at half time.
The second was dominated by City, and Argyle were lucky to come away with a draw.
Great advert for the Championship. Who needs Champions League football.
Reading score three and not a Hunt or Doyle in site.

12:30 kick off today.
Also don't forget there's a two week break after today, so maybe think twice over those transfers!
12:45 Birmingham v QPR on Sky today, should be a good match.

Ledesma and Buzsaky on the bench for QPR
Looks like they're going for the draw. Not looking like it will be entertaining at all.
