Stephen McManus - Assists on Sunday v Dunfermline

Post by Marcella »

Was my eyes deceiving me or did I watch McManus get to assists in this game?

The Herald have only credited him with one assist.

And I take it they are not terming Zurawski has assisting in Hartson's goal for Celtic's second?

Yes they have given McManus and Zurawski their respective assist, they continue however to ignore Maloneys blatant assist for Lennons goal. How long does it take them I have also noticed scores are all over the place as well.

Except Charlton-Liverpool (now corrected) I don't see other scoring problems in February.
Regarding Maloney assist, as far as I know Herald do not have their own panel, they rely on Press Association and just copy their decisions.
Press Association did not credit Maloney with an assist vs Dunfermlin.
