RMT (KDub, Bal, Fat Skier and co please help)

Post by Big Beast »

Hi,

Very excited about another FF season. After riding high for a few years, winning my F&E league and coming in the Top 100 in the country, I had an awful season last time - so need some help this time to turn it around.

Any and all thoughts on this team would be much appreciated:

GK De Gea MU £4.1 (or whoever ends up in goal for United)

FB Ivanovic Che £5.0
FB V Aanholt Sun £3.6
FB Francis Bou £3.4

CB Fonte Sot £4.0
CB Stones Eve £3.9
MD Huth Lei £3.4 (although considering Aarons at New as an extra MD instead)

MD Cazorla Ars £5.5
MD Sterling MC £5.2
MD HendersonLiv £4.6
MD Mane Sot £4.3
MD Bolasie CP £4.0
MD Ritchie Bou £4.0
MD Payet WH £4.0

ST Aguero MC £8.4 (starting with Rooney and swapping to Aguero once he's back)
ST Costa Che £7.5

£74.9

Have you picked Stones because you'll have 3 Chelsea players if he moves? If he stays, I think you need a better CB if only for the first few weeks.

And I'd upgrade one of your fullbacks, but that's just my opinion. :-)

Back from California to Oz now. Not surprisingly I've had very little exposure to transfers and pre-season but have drafted a couple of ISO team options. I'll aim to post one of these this week. With regard to the RMT I'd like to see a stronger defence and possibly a second keeper. Koscienly and Clyne would be defensive options, I'm not yet sure who I'd have as a second keeper.

Hi Bal....think this might be better posted on ISO OFL so they all know you're alive and kicking, everyone's itching to know your team suggestions.

Thanks all! Point taken on the defence :)

Stones is there for three Chelsea (assuming he goes and plays more than Begovic would). If he doesn't go, I'll have to find money to upgrade to a Top 4 defender.

GK De Gea MU £4.1 (or whoever ends up in goal for United) You need at least 2 GK's because I wouldn't fancy United vs Top 4 opponents away from Old Trafford... Negative points in the making.

FB Ivanovic Che £5.0 Must have
FB V Aanholt Sun £3.6 eh?
FB Francis Bou £3.4 eh?

CB Fonte Sot £4.0 OK
CB Stones Eve £3.9 after first 2 months, maybe
MD Huth Lei £3.4 (although considering Aarons at New as an extra MD instead) OK

MD Cazorla Ars £5.5 Got him too
MD Sterling MC £5.2 Good value
MD HendersonLiv £4.6 So many midfield options at Anfield, they may split the points over the season.
MD Mane Sot £4.3 Must have?
MD Bolasie CP £4.0 Him or JP
MD Ritchie Bou £4.0 eh?
MD Payet WH £4.0 who?

ST Aguero MC £8.4 (starting with Rooney and swapping to Aguero once he's back) OK
ST Costa Che £7.5 OK if he's fit and the lone striker

Hey Beast, glad to know I'm still remembered... many years after my epic (lucky) victory.

Payet is going to be a star player this year IMO; takes all the dead balls for a more attacking West Ham team. Ritchie for Bournemouth tore up the Championship last season, Both are worthy gambles; maybe wouldn't put both in the same team.

Agree that having FB 's from both SUN and BOU is tempting fate somewhat. Maybe Ward of Crystal Palace at 3.5?

No room for a Pulis-organised West Brom defender? Dawson, Chester and Lescott all at CB are worthy of attention.
