They probably want their 15 weeks of fame!
Do like a bit of early surgery

I always struggle with cheapo keepers and benchwarmers, so had an early cull.

3 subs today..

You call it "blowing", I call it greatly strengthening, with Costa, Fabregas & Lamela in my side. If others want to stick with the original side, or tinker minimally here or there, that's up to their personal choice. I've no problem with that.

Starting line up

GK A Begovic STO 3.4
GK L Fabianski SWA 3.3

FB L Baines EVE 4.7
FB B Ivanovic CHE 4.9  Hutton
FB B Davies TOT 3.5  Janmaat

CB D Lovren LIV 3.8
CB L Koscielny ARS 4.5
CB S Dann CP 3.4

MF M Arnautovic STO 4.2  Costa
MF A Ramsey ARS 5.0
MF Y Toure MC 6.4  Fabregas
MF C Eriksen TOT 4.7  Lamela
MF J Mutch QPR 3.5
MF G Sigurdsson SWA 4.0

ST D Sturridge LIV 7.8
ST W Rooney MU 7.8

£75M
Replaced non playing full back.
Made my choice of Spurs attacking midfielder
Altered to a more attacking focus involving Chelsea.
This will suit me for a while. Looks to have given the league an "edge"! :D

More than satisfied with the outcome.

I seem to have used 7 transfers already, only to head backwards. Oh well, it is still early doors. Plenty of variations on the original line up already, which should make for an interesting few months, as the league table takes shape.

Classic OFL tumbleweed.. so here's the ISO table as we go into the festive season. Nothing to do with who's top of the pile but got to milk it while it lasts ho ho ho

The sides were all getting pretty similar, but Aguero's injury has seen everyone go off at tangents and made things more interesting. Most have moved to 3 strikers and while Costa is a mainstay the other 2 striker births are a mixed bag of Rooney/Sanchez/Giroud/Austin/Pelle and the odd Lukaku/Benteke.

A big few weeks ahead. I'm sure we've all used more subs than normal, but I noticed a few with 15+ left who have to fancy their chances in the second half of the season.

Merry Christmas :D

Well done Northern Monkey - also on being the first poster here for 2 months! My own ISO team seems to be unresponsive to anything I throw at it this season, but still plugging away at it. As I write, it looks like those with standard (non silver or gold) packages have been awarded double points for yesterday's round of games - no doubt it will be corrected in due course, but yet another irritation from the website of this particular game.

Anyway, best of luck to all as we approach the second half of the season!

First post on here for a while - been busy. As normal I'd be nowhere in this comp without the pooled brains of FISO. The run in should be interesting; my ISO outfit is in 10th, 29pts off the top in the overall comp and 2nd, 27 off in Gold & Silver. Have five trades left but still haven't spotted the point of difference that will close the gaps.

Shaping up to be a pretty decent scrap at the top of the iso league, with 19 points covering the top 5.

A decent scrap indeed.. several teams still in with a shout. Bal (2 transfers left) & jfsl (4) look pretty good with 5-6 games left. The rest of us up there need a big slice of luck! Good luck everyone.

It's the final game week for the ISO 2014/15 season and the table shows who's in pole position to take the crown. ISO bal looks well placed but there is a battle on for the runners up spot. My season has been an absolute disaster culminating in an impressive score of -10 last week  The league has just been pipped to the top spot in the FE league by the official FISO league whoever they are but there is only a few points in it so anything could happen.

Good luck to everyone going for the top prizes on Sunday and remember anything can happen, last season I was overhauled to the top spot going into the final week with a 8pt lead

So I scraped through to win ISO (and come 8th overall). Thanks to the initial team selection panel as none of my stand alone attempts ever get anywhere near the overall crown (although I won some monthly prizes way back).
I'll be relying greatly on the aforementioned panel again in August as I assume it will be my responsibility to pick next season's line up.

For the record, final ISO standings (apologies for formatting) were:

Well done bal! A deserved win.

Happy enough to sneak second and help win the F&E league. Used my subs early & had nothing left come the end, but really enjoyed things up to that point! Made a few bad calls bringing in Walcott the bench warmer in Feb, and I must be the only ISOer to stick with Mutch for the whole season

Looking forward to your picks in a couple of months time. Have a great summer everyone.
