Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
So far I think weve identified a concern over Boric...so the question is replace like for like or go extra FB,CB,MF...jason Puncheon will get you at least 25 to 30pts Im thinking....for only 3.9m....and unless something weird happens you know he will play most games....or if you want to go off the charts go for Ward Prowse...with Lallana gone he's definately starting and taking corners and freekicks Im thinking

Presuming Southampton win any corners, of course.Keele United wrote:So far I think weve identified a concern over Boric...so the question is replace like for like or go extra FB,CB,MF...jason Puncheon will get you at least 25 to 30pts Im thinking....for only 3.9m....and unless something weird happens you know he will play most games....or if you want to go off the charts go for Ward Prowse...with Lallana gone he's definately starting and taking corners and freekicks Im thinking

Stoke are paired home and away with Swansea, so maybe Boric for the Swansea keeper?

Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
Snodgrass outscored Huddlestone last year playing for Norwich and will take free kicks, Hull won't get that many penalties because their players don't get forward enough to got fouledbspittles wrote:Also, can we afford Huddlestone for Snodgrass? Free kicks and penalties

The squad already has 2 Swansea players replacing Boruc with Fabianski would free up more cash but I can't replace Chico for a better CB!!!

Ok but how about putting in Barton for Snodgrass?...you'd save.2mill and Ibet he'll take just as many freekicks, corners and maybe penalties....but then its Joey Barton so people get a little nervous... Other than that I think better balence

I'm happier with that side. Chico sometimes shows a defensive trait somewhat similar to a quality possessed by a certain Andy Carroll. He goes missing on duty at crucial times!

Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
Like it, nice to gain a top 4 defender.
They just added Jordan Mutch for 3.5m, he was a great cheapo last year with 33 points (11 more than Snodgrass), also in a relegated side. Hows about a Snodgrass Mutch switch, QPR are starting to shape up nicely and it would free up 0.4m tinker cash for everyone.

Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
Much as I like Mutch, I think Snodgrass is a certain starter for Hull as his assist tonight demonstrates, if we really want to free up cash a change of Yaya Toure to Nasri would be possible and free £2.2! That will really open the game up.Northernmonkey wrote:Like it, nice to gain a top 4 defender.

Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
Marke, just wondering when you plan to finalise the squad? I'm off without access to internet next Weds, but maybe others will be off before that.
Also Lovren should presumably be selected as LIV not SOT to keep it a level playing field.
Squad looks good to me.

Biscuitman is right....1 week before the squad is set according to 'dem' rules so Marke should be announcing the squad this weekend...drumroll please...and my last thoughts are if you save money on Snodgrass Id also switch back to your original choice of Arnotovic over Barkely....simply Arnie will play EVERY game...Barkely? maybe not....

Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
gotta say I'd prefer Arnoutovic to Barkley, agree I think he's a more nailed on starter and I have a feeling he will do well this season.Keele United wrote:Biscuitman is right....1 week before the squad is set according to 'dem' rules so Marke should be announcing the squad this weekend...drumroll please...and my last thoughts are if you save money on Snodgrass Id also switch back to your original choice of Arnotovic over Barkely....simply Arnie will play EVERY game...Barkely? maybe not....

Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
OK!!!! Final squad??????? I have relented on Snodgrass for Mutch as his points in the last 3months last season really helped me win the ISO. (I still doubt he will be a first team choice to start with for QPR)

£0.3 spare.
I suggest the squad is set on Sunday night after the community shield game to allow changes for injuries. Everyone should have Lovren as a LIV player. (If you want to keep him as a SOT player for another team you can change the name of your ISO team, I will remove the team from the league allowing you to enter a new ISO team in its place).
To avoid any confusion every player will be selected to play in the first weekends matches......then free for all!!!
Good luck to all FISOers'

Coleman is still injured and hasn't featured the last few matches..
Physioroom site states "Hamstring injury, no return date", so he might be out for some time.
We have the money to switch to Baines..

If it's true then we really should switch him but I can't find anything on any fantasy sites saying he's injured, FPL are usually on the ball about injuries.

Re: OFL ISO 2014/15
Not in our rules and can't remember last year so question is...do we agree to leave out Fabianski (against MU) and Dann (against Arsenal) from the set supersubs. Wouldn't like to start the season on a minus.
Guess Mark will tell us who to play and who to leave out.
