Surprisingly, two maximum pointers from the 2-2 Norf Landen Derby. All point scorers are in separate games so have head starts. 7 games still 0-0.

1 3 Jester
1 3 Sport Billy
3 1 Subsonic
3 1 Des
3 1 ooozzzie
3 1 robot
3 1 murf
3 1 Spinynorman

2ND ROUND - 1ST LEG - RESULTS

Big Bird 8 v 2 steve foster
Subsonic 4 v 7 Moist von Lipwig
murf 8 v 12 scopsm
primitive man 2 v 10 Mick MacPaddywack
barrydixey 6 v 8 kevchenko
ooozzzie 6 v 5 Spencer4
Hammertime 5 v 8 Malrom
Shaggy365 9 v 5 foxinthebox2001

Depsite missing 4 of the 10 picks I still managed the 4th best score - unfortunately my opponent had the best score, a whopping 12, at least twice what half of you scored. Cheers Gemma....
Not many close ties this week, an average of nearly 4 points apart across the board. Going to need some rethinking over the infernational break.

Murf that's really unlucky and I suggest you change the rules allowing the second highest scorer to get a bye or something before anyone notices.

Agreed. Awfully embarrassing taking a beating like that ... reminds me of the days when you'd get called up to the front of the class for a public beating (for firing inkblots at the swots up front) ... never a pleasant experience

Hi Murf,

I'm sure that you have just about recovered from your unlucky defeat. Is young Kylie pulling the balls out again this week in preparation for the next round?

Sorry about the delay, recruiting a second ball fondler has been a long drawn out process. I won't go into details but will just say that if it carries on like this then you will see it serialised on the tellybox as "murf's Premiership Predictions Knockout Cup 15-16's Got Talent. Idol." Anyway to cut that very long story short, Kylie is, of course, here to draw the home teams and Amanda Holden (off of the tellybox's inferior version of "murf's Premiership Predictions Knockout Cup 15-16's Got Talent. Idol.") is here to draw the away legs.

QUARTER FINAL DRAW

Shaggy365 v barrydixey
Malrom v scopsm
Big Bird v ooozzzie
Mick MacPaddywack v Moist von Lipwig

Usual story, 2 legs. Starts today.

Shaggy365 8 v 8 barrydixey

No away leads. Kylie 2 v 0 The Holden

NOTE: FISO Goals does not yet have the midweek fixture in there. If it appears in the next set then it will count as part of the 2nd leg. If it appears in the last/current set then the scores above are only 'latest' scores.

Really bad luck there, MvL ... must have caught me on the only week of the year where I actually predicted a correct score ... my only hope of progressing further is by finding some dozy competitor who fails to make their predictions ... no chance, then :|
