How rubbish was that? Only 7 bods scoring more than 3.

It appals me to have to do it but I am indeed having to let everybody through who scored just 1 point when they should be quitting through shame. Only 28 should get through but 10 teams were tied for 28th so survive. If just 1 more of you had twigged Joe Allen would equalise....

Only PNE4PREM goes out and he forget to enter any picks after going to the trouble of entering the league yesterday!

Not sure how/why it has happened but I think ooozzzie has deleted himself from the league (don't think I did it!)

Whether he comes back in or not we will be aiming for 16 players into round 3 (+ ties)

(S)he has been PM'd.

Is there any way of checking your predictions as the matches are playing or just the Sunday/Monday games?

Not sure. Can definitely check beforehand by trying to predict it again. Have you tried looking at results?

Glad I'm safely through. Tis a bit of a lottery tonight. All 3 results are possible so I reckon 6 points should be enough whatever the score. 5 could even scrape through (for 6 to be required it would need 4 players to move up to 6 or over from 5 or less).

So it'll be pruned down to the last 8 (+) this week-end.
Looks a difficult set of fixtures to me... but with this season's results every week is unpredictable!
Good luck all.

With 8 results in and 2 games to go it is all to play for with nobody out and nobody safe. Even Curwinkle can get through with a sunday miracle after forgetting to pick yesterday!

9 of you left, listed below in season long order

1 148 Hammertime
2 134 Latic
2 134 Jester
4 133 eagle224
4 133 paisleypark
5 131 steve foster
5 131 dickypick
8 122 Malrom
9 91 thebillfella

After the midweek games there will only be 4 of you. Any ties across 4th are now settled by tie-break, which is a traditionally complicated affair but basically boils down to who got most points from the league leaders' game then second's and third's etc etc til it is decided (positions from table after the set). If those are all equal then there are further complimicated methods and rituals all carved in stone somewhere in the annals of FISO history. I'll provide the torch.)

ROUND 4 RESULTS

THROUGH
1 12 Malrom
2 11 eagle224
2 11 steve foster
4* 7 thebillfella

OUT
5* 7 Jester
6 6 dickypick
7 5 paisleypark
8 2 Latic
9 1 Hammertime

* thebillfella wins through on the first tie-breaker, strangely predicting Leicester to beat the mighty Liverpool. Jester somehow didn't register a pick for that game (only).

2 from 4 to get through this weekend.

FINAL RESULT

1 8 Malrom
:D
2 2 eagle224

A stonking victory for Malrom including correct predictions of the 2-1 wins for Arsenal and Watford (only 2 pickers on the whole of FISO pipped that with 9s, a typical score was 4 or 5).
Well played to eagle224, not for his final showing but for getting there at least!

Coming soon.... The Knockout Cup

Back to back double figures in the last two weeks and then a poor showing in the final.

Well played Malrom and thanks to Murf for running this again.
