Ta say I was surprised to see I was winning with a score of 5 would be an understatement.

Only 10 people in that minor sidegame that is the overall comp scored over 5.

QUARTER FINAL SCORE UPDATE - after 81 minutes (AKA sunday)

eagle224 1 v 1 Ralfbergs
murf 4 v 4 Big Bird
Mick MacPaddywack 1 v 6 Spinynorman
steve foster 3 v 5 Moist von Lipwig

I thought I had a poor sunday with just 1 point but only one other even did that, shame it was my opponent.

Glad to see I'm not the only person incapable of predicting anything correctly this week ... if that is a consolation for a record breaking abysmal performance

You should see my IKTS score ... thankfully I doubled my only correct outcome ...

Sorry I put up such a poxy fight, Spinynorman ... best of luck in the next round

Oh, nice. Didn't realise there was a second leg in the QF ... should have read your posts more carefully.
Its nothing to do with backbone. It has everything to do with luck. But really appreciate your encouraging words, thanks.

Checking the picks, me and Big Bird are now guaranteed identical scores from the two lunchtime games.

All goes down to Spurs v Liverpool where I need to outscore him. 1-0 will do.

SEMI FINAL DRAW

Sticking with the celebrity/reality theme for our guest picker, we've gone all ballroom and invited Susanna Reid to draw the away teams. Kylie on home ball duty.

The velvet bag and ladies say:

Spinynorman v steve foster
Ralfbergs v Big Bird

First legs this weekend, second legs on Boxing Day.

Two legged final to follow.

All - don't forget to keep your eyes open for the launch of the CL Stylee Cup (sign up will be required)

I'm taking this seriously, so I didn't let my team to speak to the press before the game, that's why there was no banter :D. Anyway, looks like it will be a close one this GW, at least it is for now.

If my calculations are correct - I need one more goal in Chelsea-Liverpool game and I win, otherwise if game ends 2-1 I lose (if Im not wrong) - this will be an interesting second half to watch :D
