Re: Friday night prediction
I gave him the armband in both teams. As did you I suspect.

Re: Friday night prediction
Yes, it was far too risky not to.
I really wanted a team without Salah but this first fixture made it impossible. May transfer him out tomorrow in one team.....just need to see the Man City team news. Will hopefully be the only transfer i do as i don't want my teams too similar but i also dont really want to use transfers.
Norwich are going to get a thrashing against big teams, but they look like they are capable of doing some damage. Stiepermann is going on my shortlist.

Re: Friday night prediction
Yep, and because the game is over Salah might get subbed off early.
Hopefully he'll get enough time in the 2nd half to get 2 VAR penalties

29 points in both teams (same 4 Liverpool players). Assume you bettered that with a van Dijk thrown into the mix?

Re: Friday night prediction
36 in t1 with 4 lpool players, and 1 transfer needed
20 in t2 with just Salah.

Re: Friday night prediction
20pts for a captain beats my usual 4pts that i was getting last season
Thought my prediction would come true after the first half. Knowing how tight it was last season i'm surprised Liverpool really didn't get a few more.

Guess the Alisson injury now means you have to keep hold of Salah. I'm in exactly the same boat

Re: Friday night prediction
It depends on whether Sterling starts or not. If he doesnt i don't have a good captain and i'll bring in Kane and keep him until the overhaul.
Salah was only pencilled in as captain for tonight. Kane could come in be captain for 2 games, possibly 3.
Ideally i don't want to go down the route of doing any transfers at all. But Man City / Spurs tomorrow both look like 20pt captains (i wont predict 50 again )

Why couldn't they keep a clean sheet! Alisson and VD!

Re: Friday night prediction
Ill admit i only had one eye on the game tonight, but did Salah seriously deserve MotM? From what i saw i thought Robertson was the best player.

Re: Friday night prediction
1 goal and 1 assist, but other than that he was very quiet. Not really sure they could give it to a defender because at times they were all over the place.

Re: Friday night prediction
1 goal put on a plate by Firmino after Salah lost the ball in the build up & 1 corner - Not really much more than a hill of beans. I could have made that contribution if i'd been in the right place & i'm fat, old, half blind & falling to bits.itslikebrandnew wrote: ↑10 Aug 2019, 06:14 1 goal and 1 assist, but other than that he was very quiet. I would have said the right hand side of the defence was all over the place. Not sure i noticed much wrong on the robertson/Van Dijk side.
