6 transfers left. What overall rank are you.Biscuitman wrote: ↑12 Jul 2020, 11:01 Let's not get ahead of ourselves... Of course, typically of this game, rather than celebrating my Antonio masterstroke, I'm left ruing the fact that (a) I didn't captain him and (b) I didn't have Sterling. Going to have to use my last 6 transfers wisely...

Looks like my push for top three status is faltering a bit at the moment. Maybe some Chelsea players? But not defenders!

Planned to put Greenwood in tonight, got distracted by domestic tribulations, missed kick off. Doh! Still have Fernandes (like everyone else), but even so...

Ne’er mind Biscuit, I’ll join you in planning transfers then failing miserably to even leave the office before 6pm, let alone change captain or make transfers.
Will set alarm clock for tomorrow evening!

In the distant reaches of the top of the table, this is getting very exciting. Good luck to both Nbbbee and coleridge.

Now Nbbeee is up to 4th, 11 points of top spot. Captain choice could easily decide how this plays out.
Good luck Nbbeee.

I’m currently in 2nd overall , Sunday will be interesting anybody from 1st to 7th could realistically win it.
Good luck nbeee aswell. I have seen you have fairly risen past up the leaderboard past few days

At the denouement of the most protracted fantasy football season ever I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who played.
The fact that the final positions were in so much doubt (and still are) going into the final weeks is a credit to everyone who stuck with it in very trying circumstances.
Good luck all for the final round and especially to you know who in the you know what .

Hmm whether to protect second or go for a miracle?
Well if I need a miracle I guess there's only one choice as captain

Re: FISO ISO 2019/2020
Congratulations Liam, I climbed up to first a month ago, drifted down the leaderboard to 71st and thought at that point I would be lucky to finish in the top 100, never mind recover to finishing second overhaul. Entering my team very late on the first day of season cost me 12 points as I didn't set my captain Divock Origi for the home game against Norwich. The team name was Power Surge because their was a power surge which effected my journey home. I have reviewed my team's history in the last few days and will prepare a more detailed post about the story of the season

I’ll look forward to reading that. Sure there must be some what if’s, but you absolutely nailed this final month. Massive congrats, and there was me thinking you were just a bit sporny with the captainsnbbbee10 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2020, 21:38 Congratulations Liam, I climbed up to first a month ago, drifted down the leaderboard to 71st and thought at that point I would be lucky to finish in the top 100, never mind recover to finishing second overhaul. An even bigger congrats to Dorrian. Join us for ISO next season Nbbeee’s picking again.
I echo Coleridge (our new bridesmaid) comments above. Thanks all for another fun ISO season, see you again in a few weeks

Congratulations, and commiserations, Nbbbee. Tight margins between success and failure. Despite the odd nature of the season, I enjoyed the FISO ISO competition, and will be back next season (ie pretty soon), assuming we go again. Thanks for all the chat and banter on here. Well done to dorrian321 too.

Re: FISO ISO 2019/2020
Hope everyone had a good break. With 2 weeks and a day to go before 2020/21 kicks off, are we going to "go again"? If so, is nbbbee going to do the honours as the well-deserved reigning champion? Obviously still a lot of moving parts squad-wise (and, unless I'm mistaken, no clarity as to precise dates for fixtures apart from for GW1), but might be good to set a league up, get team names sorted, establish rules (we were considering some changes around the 2 overhauls) etc. I would offer to help, but I'm afraid my technical skills on this sort of stuff are terrible - and, besides, don't want to step on any toes. Or do we still think it's too soon?

Re: FISO ISO 2019/2020
ISO 2020/21 is definitely on. So I'll get things started in a fresh thread and set up the league again.
Sure Nbbbee will join the party in the nick of time like last year, probably just having fun spending his winnings!
