Up until the 90th minute of the final game everyone i was arguing for was looking stupid. Luckily Murray's penalty stopped me looking a total idiot.

For what it's worth i eventually went Siggi rather than Walcott in the other team. Despite the goal it looks a poor choice. Siggi was very quiet, Everton were pants until the crowd got going in the 2nd half, can't seen them getting much on the road this season.

will be Interesting to see how many do the Robertson  Arsenal swop this weekend. At this point I think i'm bring in Laca rather than Auba.

Hey Cpt don't be harsh on yourself, that's my job, now where to start?

Nah, only joking  Fwiw I thought there was a lot merit in your arguments and just because some didn't work out the first weekend, it doesn't mean the theory wasn't sound.

Overall I'm pretty happy with things, it's worth remembering that a lot of people will have used transfers this gameweek and will also have spent much more money and not have the flexibility that we now have. The only thing I have slight regrets about is Maddison, but when the premium player his omission enables, scores three I'll get over it. Neves also irritated me with his 55 passes and late booking.

It is indeed going to be pretty interesting to see what everyone does with their money this weekend. They sure got a lot of options.

Nobody is expecting Mendy of the leicester variety to score much, if he turns up every week and clocks up the odd bonus that will do for me. The saving over any any other midfielder will make transfers that much easier. I think the only pickable player even close to that price was Billing. Your only choice was Maddison or Seri to go for him.

Well safe to say we all went our own sweet way pretty sharpish, but good to see the core of the team doing quite nicely.

Some very interesting transfers. Surprised by the absence of Aubas, with the notable exception of Malrom who swan against the hazardous tide and captained him.

The minute you brought him in I thought here comes the rotation, but no, we'll done.

I'm actually quite envious/scared of your Kane move, could easily be an explosive differential.

I transferred out Benjamin Mendy for Gudmundsonn of Burnley, first of all it was a potential for 3 games over 1 and also to have a captain for the Cardiff v Burnley fixture next Sunday. I did give consideration to selecting Laporte but thought he may be subject to rotation away at Cardiff. I won't be having an City defensive coverage until after the next international break though. Gudmundsonn also may be a potential long term replacement for Neves who I may transfer out to get Arsenal or Man City coverage later.

Was good to see the other Mendy get bonus points for his 80 passess in the Leicester v Huddersfield match.

Good job still being in the top 100.

I seen your Gud move. Nice imaginative transfer.

I reckon it's going to take me to at least Christmas to catch you at this rate :P

I brought in Lukaku as a differential. That went well.

Yeah I did notice it all went a bit pear shaped, but on the bright side Lukaku always scores against west ham :( .

I must admit, I half expected the same. Seems to be first name on the team sheet, except for a nice rest v Oxford midweek 8-)

So then, a quiet Sunday coming up for me. Anybody (aside from Nbbbeee) covering Cardiff v Burnley!?

Oh arse! I’d had Kane down as captain all week for today then did a late flip to Aguero

Here’s hoping for a fruitier second half. None of your 60 minute sub action Pep!

Good job with getting Kane Nm. Phew you didn't captain him.

Excellent work Spinksy who not only got Kane, but did captain him.

Saturday also notable for S_sutton doing some nice transfers and closing in on Nbbbee and Evvy finally popping his transfer cherry💥

Oh gawd

Having said I’d do nothing today I couldn’t help having a punt. Never a good prospect of a 10+ pointer from that game really (unless your Nbbeee ), ah well at least I only have to look at Bamba on my teamsheet till next Fri.

Next time I’ll just copy whatever Nbbeee does!

Urgh! That was disgusting. I want my transfers for Arnie and Kane back and I want them back now :lo l:

Fair play to those who swam against the tide though. There were some inspired captain choices.

Nailing the transfers this month

Refunds due on Richarlison and Lacazette, sublime stuff again from Arsenal though. I’d love a regular Arsenal player in my side, but only Xhaka seems a reliable source of points and hardly explosive as a captain.

Good to see the poor mans Mendy still getting a runout 8-)

I was going to have a bit of Lacazette myself, but seeing that those above me brought him in I thought I'd give him a swerve, pretty agonising watching I can tell you.

I see you've crept up to second Nm. Good job :D . It's feeling remarkably similar to last season for me, reasonably happy with my team, just not hitting the captains yet, but it will come 🤞.

My season continues to disintegrate, as my latest brainwave - Yarmolenko as a differential - has to leave the scene almost before he's even climbed onto my stage.

Holding my nerve and keeping my other key differential (that big bloke up front at Man U, plays for Belgium, can't bear to mention him by name) hasn't exactly paid off either, to put it mildly.

I think we're heading for my own private overhaul this weekend.

Hold on in there Bman. I I've been having a look through the Iso rule book and I think a lot of the others are in breach of rule 23 subsection k, which reads and I quote

"Any player whose username does not start with the letters b,c,d or e or is under four letters long, who has performed in a manner the chairman considers too well, before the clocks go back, shall be deemed as unsporting and be liable to a points deduction to be decided by panel of righteous players who have abided by the said rule"

Rules eh? What can I do? My hands are tied.

Nbbbee in particular has shown flagrante disregard of the above rule, shall we say a 200 point deduction for him and a 100 for the other miscreants ?

No, please, let's tell them again, they can still change their username.
And maybe they're not even interested to belong to the ISO community and will say so

Ooh Biscuitman you’ve had a shocker there. I noticed you got rid of Lukaku already for tonight, I’ve done the same bringing back Aguero for my perfectly timed dry patcher Lacazette (oh hang on.. I see you still have him lurking as well  )

After an astonishing run of 4 pointers thank fook for Salah this weekend :D

Talking of timing I shrewdly managed to get rid of Auba just before he got benched and therefore cleverly managed to avoid his five goals in the last three.

Looks like I'm out of this game.
For strange reasons sky has my account blocked.
Since I'm on my hols I have no Intention to go through that process to regain my access.
I was looking for an email address to write and just reset, but that seems to be impossible.
