So with this in mind it seems to make sense to pick a team based on the first three games, rather than a season long team.

So new team incoming shortly.

Maybe you could consider a house rule of no transfers during GW4?

It seems to somewhat defeat the object of having a game where everyone starts with the same squad if you can then change all 11 players, at no cost, after just 3 weeks.

Or better still, let me pick it again  .

Looks like Trippier may be injured, subbed off in friendly yesterday, though not for sure at this stage.

Cheers Biscuitman.

Here is the most recent draft, although I'm still open to persuasion. I have now edited the second post to reflect this.

Foster

Darmian
Stephens
Nyom

Alli
Salah (c)
Ince
Obiang

Lacazette (c)
Kane
Lukaku (c)

Does that look correct? :-) :-)

GK Foster , B WBA

DEF Darmian , M MUN

DEF Nyom , A WBA

DEF Stephens , J SOT

MID Obiang , P WHM

MID Alli , D TOT

MID Salah , M LIV

MID Ince , T HUD

STR Lukaku , R MUN

STR Kane , H TOT

STR Lacazette , A ARS

Captain

All the best to everybody!

As mentioned before, I find it a bit strange to start with the same team, if we can get rid of everybody just in a few weeks......

Looks good Malrom. :D

Yes it is a shame re the transfer amnesty after week 3. I think in an ideal world we would get together and reset the teams, but on a practical level I can't see it happening.

I'd be up for that, I think it's a great idea. So long as the new team was posted 5/6 Sep after the last Internationals we'd all have a few days to update our teams. Much more in the spirit of ISO, I'm happy to commit to that anyway. Not as if there's many of us

Is it worth PM-ing last season's FISO ISO OFL managers now, to let them know where we are - IE recruitment campaign. Or do we think they're all experienced enough to have seen this new Sky league forming , but have decided not to join?

It looks like maybe it's feasible to pick another universal team during the international break. We just need Malrom and Evvy to agree and we can do it. It would certainly be more in keeping with the ISO ethos.

Sadly I don't think it's really worth contacting the old league members. As you say I think they are experienced enough to find us if they had wanted :( .
Although if anyone else feels it maybe worthwhile, please do so. I got to say it has been a bit of a struggle, if you think Sky looks hard going you should see my efforts on FPL  .

Evvy could you please join the free league as well as the tenner league, details are in the opening post, thanks :D .

Biscuitman if you are still considering joining Evvy, Northernmonkey and myself in the ISO tenner league, for the chance of winning riches beyond your wildest dreams  , details are also in the opening post.

To anyone else lurking and not sure whether to join. I would say come on in, the waters lovely.

I'm going to stick with the free league this season; keeping it simple... Is the team now finalised? I 'll set ISO Biscuitman as if it is anyway. Off on hols on Weds morning (very irritating timing by Mrs Biscuitman) so can hopefully check matters thereafter, but no guarantee.

Hi Biscuitman. I will confirm the final team early evening today. I'm just not overly happy with two west brom at the back, but am struggling for a viable alternative.

Ok lets call it, so Biscuitman can go on his holidays 8-) .

I could tinker until the cows come home and still end up getting bitten in the Arsene.

So as you were.

Thanks for doing all this work Coleridge. I'm intending entering Sky. Just gotta sort out my account. I can't be bothered with FPL and its insignificant prizes or TFF and its multi-multi entrants. The captain per game day of Sky is at least vaguely reminiscent of TFFO.

Nice one Bal, when you join that's the last 3 winners in. Any more lurking out there Marke192, Skip, Fatskier, Reds363 etc.. ?? New players also welcome.

A reminder from higher up in this thread, everyone playing just needs to commit to the whatever changes Coleridge does in the transfer amnesty after week 3.

Just 2 days to go :D

Would it be possible for you to join the free league as well the pin is 8328516. Many thanks :D .

As we are now eligible (although extraordinary unlikely) to win a mini league prize. I guess I ought to address the issue.

I would be happy for any mini league prize to be split equally between the top five. If anyone has any objections or other ideas speak up.

Aargh . Sorry, was setting the team up quickly and didn't cross my mind that there was more than one Ince around. Neither likely to be as effective as the Guvnor, Paul. But anyway, trust it will be accepted I was neither seeking - not gained - an unfair advantage! Told you, I'm learning on the job here...!

Of course it will be accepted :D, despite the fact that sought to give everyone else an unfair advantage

It will just make your eventual victory all the more glorious 8-).
