Yeah yeah, he’s in he’s out shake it all about. His latest appearance in my team is even worse that the first! I don’t get it, 7.9 for a Spurs defender and every time I see him play he’s stroking it about, tackling etc. Just not happening though like an Otamendi/Montreal. One day you’ll rue your words, but right now he’s good for nowt except an OG

Fair play to you Mr C, been nailing those captains. I’ve been tinkering just in all the wrong places for the past few weeks. Still life in the old dog yet though

I don't doubt it. I wouldn't be still ribbing you so much :P if I thought I was home and hosed.

I'm not sure you should be extolling Davinsons virtues quite so compellingly so close to the overhaul, you might just win me over  .

Although I have been very lucky with the captains, you dodged a bullet when I didn't captain Aguero last weekend. I was all set, but because I had captained him in my other team, which is also doing nicely 8-) I thought I'd spread the risk.

Don't forget you can have another team before next weekend, for the second half league. It might be of some help with your tinkering problem :P .

For the weekly scores, click on leagues at the top of the page, then Fiso iso free league, then just under the blue box with the league info, but above the actual league table, there are three tabs saying week, month, season, click on the time period you want, so by clicking on the week tab I see Evvy scored 105, you scored 95, I scored 93 and down the bottom the chairman of the Davison Sanchez fan club :P (Northernmonkey) scored 66.

The points are generally updated late in the evening of any match day, hope this helps, just not to much :P .
Ah yes, got it. Thanks for the help there, Coleridge. That is much better now I can see it is there. Expect me to power up the table as a result. How do you do a transfer, by the way, I haven't used any yet. :)

Sorry Bman I can't help with the transfers as I've barely done any myself :P . I understand Northernmonkey is the resident expert in this regard and should be able to help you.

If my maths is correct Coleridge is 50pts off a top 100 spot which is a good effort.

Courtesy of Aguero and Hazard I have clawed my way up to a season high 12k , jumped 6k last night alone. Unlike some of you I have a bag of transfers left but feel this amnesty will closedown variances in teams so points gain will be harder to come by.

Yep - good effort Coleridge. Your experience in this game is coming to the fore, I’m loving it much like I used to love the old TFFO back in the day, just making a pigs ear tinkering instead of focusing on captains. I’m not quite looking towards next season yet but that 100+ point gap after last night is looking big.

I went leftfield with Giroud last night in the end, having failed miserably to bring in Azpilicueta (seems you can’t have 5 defenders?) and fancying something different from Hazard. Now of course wishing i hadn’t!

Just shows how hard it’s going to be to make up the ground, the past month has been safe pickings with the usual suspects. Maybe the Champions League and the injured Jesus returning will spice things up.

Made it to the overhaul with double figure transfers, where some doubted I could

Firstly a big well done to everyone. I have been so impressed with how everyone has kept going and the banter has been good fun.

Secondly    Both Biscuitman and Evvy now playing remaining transfer mind games, didn't I copyright that move ? Oh and for the record I still have plenty :P

Northernmonkey makes a great point re the champions league and with man city potentially having the league tied up by Easter, there could well be some interesting opportunities ahead, so everything still to play for.

You can can have 5 at the back Nm if you go 5-3-2. I have also been casting my mind forward to next season, predominantly thinking I better win this year as next year will be so difficult as you all will have learnt so much.

Looking forward to seeing everyones overhaul teams. Good luck all.

Yes, good point. I can see rotation being troublesome both over CL matches and towards the end of the season, where a few teams don't have much to play for. And with no vice captain to fall back on in this game, I'm going to be tempted to plump for a top player in a second rate team which needs a result - or a player from the first set of games on any day, where you can see the line-ups beforehand. Tricky. Good to know you have 11 transfers left, NM  . I too am well into double figures in remaining transfers. Will indeed be interesting to see how our new teams compare next week.

Darn it. I only wanted to use 1 transfer, so i tried to do 5-4-1 swapping Lukaku for Azpi. The interface was having none of it

Some interesting overhauls!

Everyone with at least a couple of reds, with Coleridge sticking all his eggs in the Anfield 5-0 basket. Should be a fun ride :D

I’ve gone a bit steadier, saving it for April

Yep, some interesting overhauls.

I went a bit leftfield with Rondon  Madness or genius? my magic invisible friend assures me its genius :? .

Don't worry yourself in regards to my scouseaphilia, it's only temporary.

Glad to see your patience in regard to Lukaku finally rewarded.........oh hang on.

Yeah good one.. inevitable that was. Same as Davinson Sanchez finding his passing boots again, just as I get rid he picks up his first double figure haul for months.

Good luck with Rondon  looked such a threat against Huddersfield.

Good job everyone, you all seem to be keeping right on it.

We are now entering the stage of the season where you can make great strides if you have more than average transfers left, which I think we all have (even NM  )

Personally my Rondon powered :P team is currently 131st with double figure transfers left.

As a rather boasty aside  my other team is currently top 100 and my second half league team currently top 10 8-) .

You da man Coleridge, that’s excellent stuff. Far more patient than me!

I’ve learned a lot this season though. This game is all about timing the big guns, planning ahead and nailing your transfers to pick up the big captain hauls, not farting about with piddly tinkers! I’ve faffed a lot at the back and failed to stick in Hazard and Aguero when they were obvious choices in Dec/Jan, at which point you sailed 100 points past me.

Still got 9 transfers left, still plugging away and just trying to finish as high as I can. While hoping Auba is a bit more selfish this week!!

Cheers Nm. Fwiw I think you are in pretty good shape now. I believe average transfers are around 6-7, plus you already have Kane.

In fact although I have couple more transfers than you i think i would quite happily swap teams atm

Your analysis is spot on imho, providing the small fish aren't injured or totally rubbish i tend to just leave them be and look to rotate the big boy captains.

As far as the cash league is concerned as well as keeping an eye on me, it may be worth glancing over your shoulder and keeping half an eye on Evvy, who has started to make rapid late headway, as has Bman in the free league.
