Is there a way to know how many transfers rivals have left? One site seems to know on average how many transfers players in the top 100 and 1000 have left.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2017/18
Finally got a captain right and went Kane. I suppose to be fair there wasnt really much of a choice. Maybe i'll gain a few spots if managers went with Morata or Hazard today.
Tomorrow looked pretty cut and dried as well. Wednesday looks like the day i need to get the captain right.

Gained a couple of hundred places but i expect i had more players play yesterday so a bit of a false position.
Gone Coutinho today........got to be a game soon where Salah has a shocker

Oh dear. Not a bad choice of Captain to be fair. However Klopp does seem to be managing Coutinhos game time closely.itslikebrandnew wrote: ↑10 Dec 2017, 12:40 Gained a couple of hundred places but i expect i had more players play yesterday so a bit of a false position.

Klopp will bring him on when all the Everton players are tired chasing the ball and he'll score 2 and get momwandacatvenus wrote: ↑10 Dec 2017, 14:11Oh dear. Not a bad choice of Captain to be fair. Anyone turning their attentions to the Everton game next Monday?
Considering skipping altogether.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2017/18
I was planning on just ignoring it but I do have the injured Ramsey in one team and have just enought to 'upgrade' him to Rooney. Annoying as Ramsey was one of the few decent players that everyone hasn't already got, although I suppose he was bound to get injured eventually.
There's a real lack of consistant scoring forwards this year. Morata got a third of his points in one game, Lukaku got all his early on, Aguero and Jesus can't be trusted to start, and everyone's got Kane. The rest of them are stuggling to match average defenders let alone the top midfielders. Could do with a 361 formation

Agreed, I've been 4-5-1 for a while. Strikers not offering good value at all.

Ignoring it as it's going to cost 2 transfers. Other than putting Bony in for 2 games i'm not seeing anything that can make it worthwhile.Cars and Mané wrote: ↑11 Dec 2017, 19:01 Anyone turning their attentions to the Everton game next Monday?

The more pressing matter is whether to get rid of Morata.

Not too much going on tonight. That late Huddersfield goal was pretty terrible in other games but probably good for me in this. Who are we going with tomorrow then? Looks like a choice between Salah or Kane for anyone who has them, which must be vitually everyone. I'm thinking Salah....

Currently have it on Kane. Does seem like a coin flip though. Got a feeling Salah won't start given Klopp's comments.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2017/18
Plenty of choice for me, Kane / Salah / Coutinho / KDB. I might also be tempted to swap Morata out for a Man City / Man U striker depending on team news and % of managers who have the strikers. I'm going to need to take some risks now to start closing the gap.Art Vandelay wrote: ↑12 Dec 2017, 23:29 Not too much going on tonight. In my experience it is taking the risks that widens the gap.itslikebrandnew wrote: ↑13 Dec 2017, 11:28Plenty of choice for me, Kane / Salah / Coutinho / KDB. 3 Weeks ago, I was 850 overall, but now with a few transfers and switch of formation I am now 97 overall. still got 20 + transfers left. Just shows how quick your fortunes can change. Not having Salah earlier on really hurt me ,Hopefully I can climb up the leaderboard more now.

Disaster for my strikers with 6 points total from the 3 of them. Finally got a captain right with Coutinho today. Got 1 injury and 1 suspension so i'm now tempted to bring in a player for the Everton - Swansea game.
How many points did everyone get? I'm doubting my 75 will be enough to halt the slide.

Think 451 is the way to go at present. 75 not a great score this weekend.itslikebrandnew wrote: ↑17 Dec 2017, 19:03 Disaster for my strikers with 6 points total from the 3 of them. 83 with Rooney to come in one but just 58 in the other, think 75 will be at least average. There's a real lack of pickable forwards, I started 343 in both but am now 352 and 451. Even the bottom half teams have midfielders, or even defenders, outscoring their forwards.

I was dead set on a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 but with KDB Salah silva sterling hazard and coutinho to make a few and the likes of Morata lukaku Sanchez not quite doing it I could do with a 4-6-0 formation. Even Kane is having too many blanks for my liking.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2017/18
I keep looking at the fixtures and seeing what on paper are easy matches for the big teams and going with 343 as im assuming everyone else has changed to 2 or 1 up front and i could be in for 100pts+ for my strikers one day but it's just not happening. There's not even one consistent striker at the moment. I could of captained my keeper at the weekend and he'd of easily outscored any of my outfield players (including if they had the captains bonus).
My score of 75 improved me by around 400 places which is ok but not really making a dent in the leaders. Not really seeing a way to get a player in my team for tonights game so think i'll just ignore it.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2017/18
I do but he'd only be in for 1 game. If i put him in for 4 games he'd screw with my captain selections over the next couple of weeks and i'd have more days without a captain or need more transfers. Either way i'd be looking at 2+ transfers

5 for 2 (Rooney V Kane) - Big differential. Though not for me.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2017/18
Been playing Sky FF for a couple of years now but this is the first year I've really got into it.
Currently sitting in the top 3000, which I'm fairly pleased about.
Few questions - how many transfers do the top teams generally have left at this stage? And how many transfers would you say is a good number to have left immediately following the overhaul?

Every Friday Fantasy Football Scout publish a Sky update which contains the average number of transfers remaining for the top players. This is from last Friday:
Top 10 – 13.00
Top 100 – 15.04
Top 1,000 – 15.37
Top 5,000 – 15.23
This is my first season too but I'm currently working on the basis of using one transfer per game week. So that would leave 13 transfers left after the overhaul, give or take, as a reasonable goal.
