1 There will be a further announcement on Monday April 15th

2 Sky have a contract which allows them to have 1245 games on a Saturday

Nothing the FA or Premier league can do about it

Chelsea v Swansea should now be moved to Sun April 28th

The Newcastle game on ESPN can now be played at 1730 on the 27th

Also the 2 games on TV on Sunday 28th will now kick off as advertised at 1330 and 1600 and do
not to be moved to accommodate the Newcastle switch to Sunday at noon

2 More to be moved

Reading v Man City and Arsenal v Wigan (Just chosen for TV last week  )

from Cup Final weekend

Logic suggests the Tuesday AFTER (Or Weds if they dont mind clashing with Europa Final if Sky are showing one of them)

I've put some thoughts down for TFFers on bonus/rearranged games here:

The BBC fixture list now seems up to date and is just waiting on the Spurs/Chelsea date announcement.

Late ko

Post by SamD »

FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Wigan will feature a late kick-off for second successive year:
  • 5.15pm, Sat 11 May; live on ITV and ESPN
Potential issues:
  • - lengthy pre-match 'drinking' time (cf Wigan-Millwall semi-final problems at Wembley last Sat)

    - missing last train travelling north if game isn't settled in 90 minutes

Why don't they just play the final on a Wednesday night under the lights? At least then it wouldn't feel like an afterthought.

All home values are between 4 and 11.

A whopping 11 of 20 away value are outside that range. What does that mean? No idea.....

The Final TV Appearances (I think you get a fixed fee for 10 matches and then
earn loads more for every appearance greater than 10

Liverpool 9 13 22
Man City 10 11 21
Tottenham 8 13 21
Chelsea 7 9 16
Newcastle 8 8 16
Aston Villa 11 3 14
