If as now looks likely, Chelsea make the champions league semis they could end up having to play two league games in the last two midweeks. I'd imagine the Newcastle game will be on Wednesday May 2nd as they have QPR the previous Sunday. The following midweek will probably be left for the Liverpool game in case one or both are involved in the cup final.

Two games in two separate midweeks ???

I think Chelsea's main concern is the following 10 day sequence !!!!

Sunday Spurs Semi Wembley
Wednesday CL Semi home
Saturday Arsenal away
Tuesday Cl Semi away

Bolton v Tottenham will be live on Sky on May 2nd, so they'll have 6 games in total for the final two weekends. I'd assume they'll show Liverpool v Chelsea, Man United v Swansea and Newcastle v Man City on the penultimate weekend and leave 3 games for the final day.

Everton's Premier League clash with Stoke has been rescheduled for 1 May.

The match, originally due to be played on 14 April, was rescheduled after the Blues reached the semi-final of the FA Cup.

Everton will now travel to the Britannia Stadium on 1 May for a 7.45pm kick-of

And Sky have also chosen the two Manchester clubs to play on Sunday May 6th when there may just be a trophy presented

At 1330 Man City visit what used to be called St James Park

Meaning Man United will be clear to have the trophy presented after their game at 4pm
at home to Swansea

Which all means that Liverpool v Chelsea is unlikely to be shown by Sky

This used to be a certainty each season !!!

Scheduled to be Saturday lunchtime

Will be moved to midweek if either are in Cup Final - presumably Sky will show it Tuesday/Wednesday ?

Liverpool v Chelsea will not be taking place on Saturday May 5th. Either Tuesday May 8th or Thursday May 10th are the most likely dates for the refixed game as Sky would probably not be allowed go up against Europa Cup final on Wednesday 9th. We'll have to wait until tomorrow evening to see if Aston Villa v Tottenham will also have to be moved. If Chelsea win tomorrow, it'll be the second year running (Man City v Stoke in 2011) that the cup finalists were also due to play each other in the league on the same day.

Just the one match to change

And there have been only 2 Cup Finals which have clashed with Premier league Fixtures

And both times the Premier League has picked the correct finalists in June !!!!

FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool will kick-off at 5.15pm.
Chelsea v Liverpool
The FA Cup with Budweiser
The Final
5.15pm, Saturday 5 May 2012
Wembley Stadium
Live on ITV and ESPN

The Football Association can confirm that this season’s FA Cup with Budweiser Final between Chelsea and Liverpool will kick-off at 5.15pm on Saturday 5 May.

It will be the first FA Cup Final under floodlights at Wembley Stadium in almost 20 years – the last being Arsenal’s replay win over Sheffield Wednesday in 1993 when a last-minute header from Andy Linighan in extra-time sealed a 2-1 victory for the Gunners.

This year’s Final is the competition’s 131st but the first time that Chelsea and Liverpool will have met in the Wembley showpiece despite sharing a massive 43 FA Cup Semi-Final appearances between them.

Have they not looked outside in May, it doesnt get dark until almost 9 o clock
