Not a very firm fixture
A If Chelsea are in FA Cup replay it will be cancelled again
B If Portsmouth are not trading or their players are on strike it will also be cancelled

I'll have to have a serious look at the code in my powerful spreadsheet and make sure that such silly errors never occur again... pesky technology

I've editted my original post to prevent any confusion.

And if they don't there is an FA Cup Semi at Wembley that day

That means it must be a 515 game

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but does anyone know the dates of possible FA Cup 6th round replays given any potential knock on effects...?

Fulham-Spurs and Chelsea-Stoke replays would both be on 24 March (because of European commitments the previous week for Ful/Che).

It's less clear for the Por-Bir or Read-Villa games, the 16/17th would be the 'usual' week-and-a-half-later dates but they could also be the week after ie 23/24th (if ITV wants them in a week where they won't clash with CL coverage for example; and since the semis aren't till 10 April there's plenty of time)

Fixture time

Post by SamD »

Perhaps CH-AV timing is to avoid clash with BBC's Grand National meeting coverage from Aintree that Saturday?

No ITV and BBC always consider Saturday 5 or 530 to be the highest
audience time

Anyway there is also a chance of a North London Derby that day at 1245
as well so it makes sense for them not to be both at 1245
