The planned announcement from Sky & BT yesterday has been delayed until later in the week. There's a possibility it will now be Wednesday but that's not set in stone. The delay apparently is down to the fact they are still finalising which games they want to show.

Latest estimate is that an announcement will be made tomorrow -
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foot ... 99790.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I fully endorse the comments made by the FSF spokesman in this article. I'd also suggest that it's sky who are obstructing the process; as BT have said that their "free" offer has to be taken up by august 1st, am sure that sky would be happy for the announcement to be delayed as much as possible, ideally until august 2nd, so that BT couldn't let punters know exactly which games that they would be signing up for. Sure, both companies have profits to make and they are fighting their respective corners - but the premier league are letting them get away with it. No thought given to the extra costs that will be born by travelling fans of course.

Re: 2013-14: Advance news of fixture schedule (Starts Aug 3r
The first round of televised fixtures announced this morning will demonstrate just how seriously Sky is taking the challenge of its latest rival by ensuring it keeps an iron grip on the champions’ high-profile matches from August until November.
It is thought that Sky has exercised its right to first refusal on 20 of the 38 rounds of fixtures in order to broadcast David Moyes’s first three Premier League games in charge, starting with Swansea City away on the weekend of Aug 17 and followed by the home match with Chelsea and the trip to face Liverpool at Anfield.
Sky is also believed to have taken the Manchester derby, Moyes’s fifth league game at the helm, and at least one more of United’s November games against Arsenal and Tottenham.
With the champions being English football’s biggest draw in terms of television audience, Sky’s decision to top-load its schedule with games involving them appears a no-brainer.
But with strict rules governing how many times individual teams are shown in a given season, it remains to be seen whether the strategy will give BT the opportunity to show more of United’s matches towards the business end of the campaign.
That is because, for the first time since Sky was forced to share the rights to live Premier League football, one of its rivals has secured the first pick of matches for 18 of the 38 rounds of fixtures.
For the remaining rounds, it only has the fourth-choice pick, something Sky could easily exploit on the opening weekend by selecting Chelsea’s game with Hull City and Manchester City’s match with Newcastle United.
That would leave BT with a relatively unattractive fixture with which to launch its Premier League coverage at 12.45pm on Aug 17
